This is hardly an authentic Italian deli. I grew up in Chicago, next door to what the city refers to as their “little Italy” for years as a kid I forgot I was Mexican because of how frequently we shopped these delis. Not just because the food was always amazing but because the employees treated you like family today, I walked in to this place for the fifth time in one month asking for a tuna sandwich and every time I have been told that they are sorry, but they don’t have any. That’s not my complaint. After my fifth attempt I decided to ask an employee if there’s a good time to come back that will give me a better chance of trying this sandwich. I approached the woman at the register who asked me if I had a question when I asked her she turned around and asked who I assume is the manager. This manager immediately looked up at me and gave me a very quick and short answer then proceeded to call out the woman at the register because there were “seven” people in line. All this woman was doing was helping me out with a question. This manager went out of their way to make them feel small. If we even assume she wasn’t answering my question, why would you only have one register open for seven customers along with a packed store? maybe the boxes that were being folded by the manager weren’t as important as helping one of those seven customers that he expected one employee to help. I should have read the reviews. Even others are talking about the lack of knowledge and...
Read moreThe food is great, I especially love the bakery! I frequent the Claro's in Tustin. Unfortunately the staff here in Corona lacks experience and potentially training. I ordered half a pound of spicy soppressata and was terribly disappointed when I got home and found it was the incorrect meat. I have no idea what they sent me home with, but as someone who orders primarily soppressata... I can tell you it wasn't that. Additionally, I'm a sharp cheese gal. I ordered Asiago and asked the gentleman behind the counter for sharp cheese recommendations. His response was that he honestly didn't really like cheese. I get that everyone has preferences, but working behind the counter of the deli and having 0 knowledge on the cheese is a little disappointing. Hoping the service improves over the next few months as the team adjusts to the crazy crowds. I'll be back and will happily update my review to reflect my newest interactions at...

Needed to finally see a great Italian market and deli.
Claro's did not disappoint! From the moment they opened, place was bustling with allot of customers.
Make sure as soon as you walk in grab your number for the deli. This will limit your wait time.
I chose the Spicy Mike sandwich. My wife had the delicious turkey wrap. To accommodate her, with gluten free diet. Both items were on point. If you love spicy choose the Spicy Mike!!!
Met Brandon the Manager of Claro's. He was helpful accomdating. He made sure our first time visiting would be memorable.
Employees were helpful and friendly. So many selections from sandwiches. To pastries and bread selections.
Claro's has gluten free options for it's customers.
I'm sure you won't be disappointed in stopping by. Only issue so many options. So many tasty items will definitely have everyone...
