Corvallis Community Thrift — Local services in Corvallis

I must disagree that nothing is tested in this Thrift Shop. I am a volunteer there and every single appliance, electronic (radio, stereo, television, DVR, VHS recorder, clock) is cleaned, tested and marked as such. If anything which states it is tested does not work, we return your money within seven days with receipt. Also, we do extensive research on our nicest items. We look at the SOLD prices on E-bay, Etsy, Poshmark, Ruby Lane, etc. Then we price our items at half what it sold for online. We are fortunate that our community is supportive and brings us very nice items. They, in return, expect us to get a good price for them. Every penny (and I do mean every penny) of profit is returned to our community as scholarships and grants. The $160,000 we earned from the shop in 2024 is currently being distributed as scholarships and grants to OSU and LBCC as well as grants to our local non-profits. We make...

Absolutely not the place to thrift. This is not a second hand store, this is a “look it up on eBay and ask the same price or more” store.

Nothing tested, no 30 day returns and they want the same and more as eBay with none of the responsibility.

I am flabbergasted by how their stuff is priced. I thought Goodwill was insane, but oh my god, this place is redefining...

The shop is clean, organized and very pleasant to spend time in. I found the most beautiful, brightly colored, table cloth and deco style wine glasses at this thrift shop last week. Our family has fond memories and has enjoyed great deals, as far back as when I bought shoe skates for my daughter 30 years ago! Thanks for hanging in there all...
