I wish I could give them 10 stars!! Ellie, the manager, and her team at Ulta Salon are the most professional and friendly team around! They introduced themselves with a smile and then handed me a water when I sat down in the chair! Ellie listened carefully to what I wanted and took the time to really talk it through with me to make sure we were on the same page! We had so much fun together! We laughed and talked, there was never an "awkward silence" moment that can happen sometimes. The entire team was warm and friendly and were always there to help eachother out and as I sat for many hours getting my hair done, I noticed it wasn't just me. It was everyone there! They treated all their customers like family! Ellie is so knowledgeable about what is in style and all the different ways to do hair. She really can do just about anything that you want! She took extra time to make sure it was perfect. She also made sure my hair was styled so beautiful when I left! I loved my hair so much that I cried when she turned me around to look at it!! She made my hair look so amazing!! I honestly could not believe how beautiful of a job she did!! She is an amazing person and an amazing leader for her team! The entire experience was so much better than my expectations and my expectations were already pretty high! They really went above and beyond!! The price was amazing as well! You just won't find service like this anywhere else!! I will be going to Ellie for the rest of my life now! My children will go to her along with other family members! Hello, I had my hair done for a second time at the salon and while the stylist and staff are very nice and the location is clean and well kept I just want to let others know some problems I had. I had seen the same stylist twice now and was slightly upset the first time I had my hair done as the cut was very odd but had a lovely experience overall and thought maybe it was a fluke so I returned again for upkeep, it was remarked on at both appointments how strange it is that I don’t have grey hairs (i’m 27?) and the haircut I received the first time looked much like an old womens, very puffy on top with disconnected choppy layers that gave the appearance I had two seperate haircuts going on, despite trying to experess what I didn’t like it seemed there just was a communication barrier and they couldn’t understand what I didn’t like. The second time was the same way but this time I asked for only a trim as my hair had grown out in a way I was comfortable with after blending it on my own after the previous appointment but I again was given the puffy disconnected layer look. I’ll be honest it was a bit hard not to feel as though I was being made a joke after the comments on having grey hair and then having my hair cut into an older women’s haircut. The color was not what I had requested either time and the second time much of my forehead and ears were stained with it as well. I did not try hard to state my distaste at the time of service as I am not a confrontational person and what concerns I had expressed had already been met with confusion. I was just in the Ulta store about maybe an hour ago. I live in Omaha, however I just recently figured that the store is closer. I was a little late on returning some of my gifts my girlfriend gave me for Christmas, so I figured today I would do so. I received a huge attitude about returning the products, however I am familiar with policies as I have been shopping at ulta for years . I got store credit, and continued to shop around. The way she treated me was so bad that I was crossing my fingers someone else would check me out, I couldn’t have gotten outta that store any sooner.
