Some arrogant nasty attitudes here. Went in with the wife to get a lottery ticket. Customer service person said to go to the self serve machine. But not wanting to deal with machines, walked up to the person operator type machine there with a sign saying to go to the moneygram (?) window. So the wife goes up and asks for lottery service. Right away, the lady in there starts huffing and puffing as if she's really bothered. OK, thought you were a service, apparently no, guess she wants to get paid to sit there at the window doing nothing. So she marches out and starts to process the tickets with a bad attitude. Sorry to bother you lady! Then she tells my wife, cash only. OK, wife pulls out the cash but still she's not happy so she tells my wife, correct cash only. Wife doesn't have it but I do and about this time, the lady is really getting on my nerves with her bad attitude talking to my wife with that tone of voice. But I have correct change so I just give it to her so we can exit this bad attitude. I really felt like telling that lady to hold on a second then going to stand in line to buy some bubble gum to get exact change for her. See how she likes having to stand there and wait rather than sit in her office chair not providing service for people of which I am sure she is paid to do. But at this point, instead of giving her a piece of my mind for using that tone with my wife, I just gave up my cash so that we could get away from this lady's rotten attitude. We frequent the restaurant across the way and only went in for a lottery ticket but now I'm 100% sure we will never buy a darn thing...
Read moreAs a local of West Covina for 33 years, we support our local markets and have been regulars of Baja Ranch and the prior markets that took up the spot. After today, we will not support this venue for their discrimination and poor customer service.
My mom was waiting at the meat counter and was to be served since her number was called. When she approached, the supermarket staff looked at her and then called out to another customer to be served.
The other customer acknowledged that my mom was first and said please assist her first. The supermarket staff then said to my mom you need to wait and ignored her and began to help the next customer after my mom.
I’m disgusted by the discrimination and how rude the supermarket staff are. We have never experienced this. When is it okay to treat one another like this.

Read morewe usually shop here for meat, but today's visit 7/21/2021 was terrifying. our bill was almost $80 w/ about $60 worth of meat. As were about to pay, the security guard stormed towards us and took away the red plastic bags. He did not even asked us. I told the security guard that we needed the bag to divide the meat to freeze. I was like it's only 4 bags. i called for manager ELIAS, he prorceeded to tell me that i have to buy it at .50 cents. i said are you crazy? the bags are .10 cents. i kinda felt like there was Asian descrimation. I told ELIAS that we come here often and it was never a big deal. I mean we spend $60 for meat and we can't even get 4 red plastic bags. These guys need to be Re-trained and figure out where their priorites are? i am not going...
