Came here to celebrate my dad's birthday on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. My sister and I got the chorizo wedge salad and shared the molcajete supreme for 2. My dad got the chili relleno plate and my mom a combination plate of carne asada, enchilada and a chili relleno. To begin ther meal they offer chips and salsa. I LOVE the salsa! It had a delicious roasted flavor and the perfect amount of spice. I wanted to buy a bottle and take it home if they sold it.... I didn't check. But it was so yummy, I couldn't stop eating it. My dad loves their chili rellenos... flavorful and not too spicy. The combination plate was a nice portion. The enchilada was nice and cheesy. My mom said the carne asada was good but could have been a bit more tender. The chorizo salad was delish. The chorizo had great flavor and was not of the spicy variety. The molcajete was HUGE! So much food in it. I was surprised how much shrimp, chicken and meat was in it. The meat was my favorite.... flavorful.... tender nice size slices. Ther chicken was also tender. And ther shrimp were a nice size as well, not those mini can barely see size. Overall it was a really great meal. And the service was nice and attentive.

The atmosphere was really crowded with the tables so close together. Felt really crammed. They offer a buffet style lunch during the week which was very limited and didnt look pleasing so i got my meal off the menu which included some foods offered in the buffet. Id rather my food be made fresh and not sitting under the heat lamps but that didnt do any justice ordering from the menu since my hardshell taco was so dry had no flavor. The Enchilada red sauce was too tart like they used too many guajillo chile pods or who knows maybe it was can. The amount of cheese in the enchiladas sort of made up for the sauce. The beans and rice were the best thing on my plate. I will never return to this location. The waitress seemed to have put on a fake smile since i had to sent the dry taco back she did offer me another Enchilada which i accepted but couldnt finish since it wasnt that great. My daughter got a sope with only beans and cheese and that was 7.99 ridiculous amount.

Food at this place years ago was good. Had not been here for a few years now, we used to come regularly before covid hit. When food was full of flavor and freshly made. The all you can eat buffet on the weekends was always fire. This time that we came to eat, sadly to say food was very bland the presentation as well not so good. Maybe it was an off day not sure. It tasted like hospital food no flavor at all. The ambient as well changed a lot, mainly senior people, wasn't feeling it like before, times changed. Customer service was still pretty good some old faces still work there which was a plus for the great service. They kept coming by for refills and making sure everything was good. Overall if you like bland food this is the spot. As for us we like our Mexican food full of flavor the way it's supposed be. So as for now we will be staying away from this spot.

Disappointed to have to write this review because this was once my favorite restaurant.

I came in with a guest when they had their buffet available & was served by an older man named Francisco. My guest opted for the buffet while I ordered from the menu.

After ordering the steak from the menu, the server Francisco never asked what type of tortillas I wanted. So I had to stop him as he was walking away & ask for corn tortillas myself.

Then Francisco failed to provide us with the complimentary chips & salsa which they always served in the past. I honestly thought they just stopped serving it to guests.

That was until I called the restaurant after I left. They informed me that guests who order from the menu are still provided the complimentary chips and salsa. Guess he forgot….

After the food & drinks arrived, my rice was mushy & terribly overcooked. The steak which was requested rare, was medium at best. But never once did a Francisco ask if everything was okay.

When our beverages were running empty I had to practically beg for his attention to try & get a refill. I tried waving him down three times & each time he just walked past me to attend to another guest. On the fourth attempt, it was my guest who had to stop & ask him to please refill my cup with water. It was embarrassing to say the least because she had to stop eating just to get the guys attention.

Despite the struggles, I politely thanked Francisco each time service was provided.

After we were done, I even left him a 20% tip because I didn’t want to seem rude in front of my guest despite feeling that a tip wasn’t merited based on the service that was provided.

Needless to say I won’t be coming back which is a shame because when the service is good so is...

I have always given great reviews to this restaurant, but I'll have to be honest and advise that the restaurant itself has great service and most of the servers are great, but their App delivery is disgusting. I've noticed this before but have given them the benefit of the doubt two other times. Today July 4th, I felt sick and had to change my plans so I ordered the beef soup through Uber Eats. This soup if you have it at the restaurant will be perfect but they don't seem to have the same care for delivery orders. I wrote a note asking to please not to put too much vegetables as I needed the soup more than anything for my upset stomach, they immediately refused my request saying they could not do that. I called them and explained that I wasn't asking for more of anything, instead I didn't want them to fill the container with vegetables because I needed the liquid, well my order arrived cold, very poorly packed, they sent a meager amount of rice in the same container with the chopped cilantro and the little onion they sent and to top it all off they put the lemon slices in there too. Other times they had properly packed them separately. My review has more to do with their unwillingness to honor customer's special requests because that's why the App has a section where you write how you want your order. I'll probably stay away from ordering from them again. We pay so much more for the food but sometimes special circumstances forces us to order through delivery services and we can't get...

I have been coming here for over 15 years. Like every other Sunday I travel over 35 min. to enjoy Sunday Brunch and their Buffet. Today was not the day, well the last 3-4 have not been pleasant overall with customer service, food, and atmosphere. I normally take my 2 year old. I had never gotten charged for him. Today was the day. $15.99 for a 2 yr old. Ridiculous in my opinion. I served a plate of caldo de cocido, usually for him and I but since he was fighting me for the plate I put it in front of him and we both ate. The caldo itself was just vegetables and one piece( tiny piece) in the entire pot. Food was OK, bland overall. For the first time in a long time their cafe de olla was good. For the price we paid today, we are better off going to Guadalajara grill, more food options and pretty much same taste. Plus live music and the servers are nicely dressed and always a fun atmosphere. I did ask my waiter why, he overcharged me on my baby and he said because the plate was in front of him. He got a bit defensive, I didn’t want to argue so I just left. I have never paid this much for my 2 yr old. I usually pay $5.99 or even $9.99 for his food which I don’t plan not to pay but come on.. So if you have a baby make sure you don’t place a plate in front of him/her for whatever reason. I will probably not be coming back here for a long time. It was more of the response I received from the waiter than the price itself, just...
