Bernadine Torres and her Team at the Prominent 1 Financial Group, Inc. were truly exceptional. They helped my parents purchase their first home in Downey, and had an untraditional loan. I was impressed with their level of knowledge and the amount of data they had about the market. Lucinda our Real Estate Agent was ALWAYS available for home tours. Their responsiveness was incredible. If they didn’t pick up, they always called back no longer than 5 minutes later. Seriously no matter the time we called. We had a lot of late-night conversations due to schedule conflicts. They told us that going in and highlighting the concerns we had and the research they wanted to do to make sure progress was being made and we wouldn’t have to wait for a long time to move in.

They did an incredible amount of information gathering about the process, and the status of city and county inspections, and reviewed all the documents. The delivery of the information was straightforward: present the info and talk about pros/cons/strategy for moving forward. They really treated the situation like they were purchasing the property – they look out for you and have your best interests in mind. The amount of effort and time they put into walking us through the process is unbelievable. From the first day we met, they spent their entire evening walking us through the “big picture.” From there on out, they were always available to provide us with the information that we needed (or didn’t need, but needed for the sake of our sanity) – every decision that my parents made, small or big, mattered to them. Not only did we feel like we had all the information we needed to make those decisions, but we also felt like we were in good hands. Especially because, as a first-time buyer, my parents didn’t know all of the questions we should be asking (or do’s and don’ts, for example) and they would proactively provide this information, which made me feel like we were walking through this process with eyes wide open. From an expectations perspective, I don’t know how the Prominent 1 Financial Group, Inc. team does it – and to the fault of everyone else I worked with – they set my expectations really high and not unrealistically high because they would meet them at the end of this experience.

Bernadine will work with you to make your desires a reality. Lucinda and Fernie are also very well-versed in dealing with other real estate agents. When there were disagreements about certain verbiage in documents, Fernie and Lucinda were patient and worked through some tough situations without breaking a sweat. Their cool, calm mindset kept my anxiety low and gave me the confidence they would get the job done – and they did!

Their promptness, knowledge of the market, strategic mindset, kindness, and good energy made a potentially chaotic purchase process simple. When we want to buy again we will not hesitate to call the Prominent 1 Financial Group, Inc. team.

I live in City of West Covina, and I happened to be driving by Prominent realty about a year ago. I thought it would be a good idea to talk to this real estate agency to list my property for sale. I talked to Mr. Bernadine Torres, and make a long story short he wanted me to sign a contract asap, because he was meeting some important investors next day in Beverly Hills and he thought this was a great opportunity to market my property. I trusted Mr. Bernadine Torres and signed a contract for a year. From March 11th 2023 through February 2024 I tried to get a hold of Mr. Bernadine Torres at least 5 times in order to see what was happening with market and what we could do to sell the property such as reducing the price or if any offers were available, but Mr. Torres never returned my calls. He finally responded by text, mid February of 2024 and when I asked him to terminate my contract so I could go with another real estate agent, he refused to do so. My suggestion is if you happen to be driving by Prominent realty in City of Covina please ignore this business and keep driving, because my experience was only waste of time and money.
