Covington Place Senior Apartments — Local services in Covington

Covington Place is run by cambridge management inc. All activities are run by residents, not by staff. The garbage room has a schedule but it is not followed. Garbage is often left to rot for weeks and the garbage chute gets backed up to the 4th floor. There are several empty apartments due to ongoing leaks. The carpets smell like dirty socks. Recently management hired a new cleaning person because they are trying to impress new tenents. The roof top reconstruction was started Sept. 5th very little work has been done so far. Staff will promise you everything and give you nothing. Do your own research before moving in. Laundry facilities are dirty and not maintained. Work orders are neglected. There is high turn over. Office staff are rude and indifferent to the needs of their tenants. Computer lab is 2 old computers and no way to print or copy. Becareful of the bait and switch tactic with apartments.The owner is not going to replace washers or dryers people will have send out their laundry or use public laundry mats. Most of these people can't afford to or are physically unable to do this. The owner is unwilling to properly maintain Covington Place. They are still advertising washers and dryers as available ammenities. The renter beware in this case. Whatever you do get it on writing and keep every scrap of paper pertating to Cambridge.When I left there were only 2 washer and 3 dryers still working for 132 units.and there are several units...

I wish I could leave 0 stars. You should be ashamed of the way you are managing this establishment. My parents live here and prior to the new owners take over it was a nice place to live. During the past 2 years they have gone months without housekeeping services the carpets are stained, the furniture is as well. at a time when thorough cleaning should have been a priority during the pandemic, while most businesses were ramping up on cleaning you provided none! They have been through so many manager changes I have lost count. The dishwasher in there apt has been broken for greater than 6 months with no repair in site. There is no on site maintenance. I requested a meeting over a year ago on line with the company who manages these apartments with no response. Emergency lighting in the stairwell was not working and went months without being replaced until the tenants notified the fire department. To blame this on short staffing 7 months ago in a response on here and to still have the same complaints is reflective of...

Hello my name is Tessa moon in apartment 201 I had quite a nice experience with the help I got from the front desk from a wonderful lady her name was crystal Allen I could not get the act of building to accept my money and time because of the weekend and I was under a crunch to get this setup and in.. I couldn't do it myself and the lady was efficient professional very kind happy and it's such a fresh air having somebody like that at the front desk I've yet to meet the other manager that I'm sure that she is a stellar agent as well as Crystal Allen because this place is finally looking like it did when I first moved in thank you very much for getting efficient people in here who are professional courtesy fast efficient professionals. I feel that finally after being here for 4 years you have put in people finally returning this place to the way it was when I moved in which is very sterile and clean they have efficient maintenance man for the trash finally that was horrible thank...
