Pupusas Locas — Restaurant in Covington

If I could give ZERO STARS!!!! I really would. I frequently have ordered from this business through door dash. The first few times were absolutely perfect, however the last 4 times I've ordered, there has been no salsa or the carrots/jalepenos that they usually give.

This most recent time I ordered...today...I made sure to write in the special instructions to include the red and green salsa that is INCLUDED in the tacos that I order, since the last few times I ordered...there came with none...and who the heck likes tacos without salsa?!?! And I also asked for a little extra radishes, and carrots... because we'll, they are delicious. There is nothing wrong with the quality of food....but this business...which again, I have been a loyal customer of theirs for a while...decided to charge me an ADDITIONAL $14.OO for my "special request" I received my tacos...and thank God this time I actually did get one red and one green salsa...which again...is INCLUDED and standard for an order of tacos at no additional charge...but I received NO carrorts...and only FIVE radishes.

An additional $14.00 I was charged....and for what??? Even IF I had ordered EXTRA salsa, which i did not, $14.00 is just absolutely outrageous 😳

This business obviously has ZERO customer service. And is literally stealing money from regular customers.

I am absolutely disgusted.

to this business, I hope you read this...STOP STEALING FROM INNOCENT REGULARS!!! and STOP shorting people on salsa....goodness....a plain taco is just no good.

And you can be darn sure that I will tell EVERYONE that I know, and through every social media platform how absolutely ridiculous they are trying to steal money...

We had an excelent meal here. I got the #3 Pupusa with steak, my wife got the fish. evereything was really well cooked. The pupusa were fried perfectly with justa bit of the cheese frying to the side all yummy and crispy-like. Each one came out that way and I had quite a few. The fish was great covered in a thick marinade and then braised really good, my wife picke dthe bones. My friend had the soup and finished it to the bottom. The coleslow for the pupusas was nice and spicy. I went there ith 6 people and they had no problem acomidating our group. I was already a fan of Salvadorien food (I eat it mostly in Seattle and White Center), the others were new to it, but everyone really enjoyed thier meals, and I'll certainly be back when I swing by Covington again. My family and i happily make the 1 hour trip to eat the food at this restaurant whenever we can because the food is simply worth it. All the dishes we have tried have been COMPLETELY worth the trip and the money. everything is bursting with flavor. The food is cooked on demand so it does take some time but the food is truly delicious. they have tons of different pupusas options and we’ve tried most of them. The soups are filled with tons of vegetables and meats and the atmosphere is AMAZING. Every visit we have been met with the kindest employees who constantly check in on us and happily explain each and every dish. The restaurant is very clean and vibrant, filled with tvs, colors, and candies. this is truly our favorite restaurant and we highly recommend. the platanos con lechera are a must-order...
