Cashless? The woman working tells me after she boxes up my dozen + a few extras ($50 btw), that "Oh, we're actually cashless."
You've got to be kidding me. Im done with any and all businesses that are cashless. Yeah, its the way of the world. Its going to be harder and harder for me to do business with many places. But I'll hold out till the end. I don't support cashless businesses. I hope others join the fight.
(Edit for response) Yes, I do have children. I have three daughters. Have I had terrible things happen? Yes. Ive been robbed at gun point. Ive had knives pulled on me. Ive traveled to third world countries during my military service. I have seen and experienced dredful things. I teach my daughters to be aware. To defend themselvws. Take precautionary measures in all circumstances, avoid if can, but do not tuck tail and run. You think they know you don't have cash? Nope. Mostly likely not. Have I used Amazon? No. I dont. . Do I fly? Not anymore, and when I did and they stopped taking cash they heard about it all flight. These are just directing the point that you are a business that doesnt take the american dollar. A big problem with this country, especially this state, is the knee jerk reaction to fear. A unfortunate event, or some mainstream news about horrible things. People tend to bend to the criminals. Instead, stand ground. Group up. Don't tolerate the crime. You think this country was built by proe running from fear? Lets rally to defund the police. Lets make it so the police dont pursue criminals. Lets vote in career politicians who take our law abiding citizens gun rights. Yeah, cause thats good. Disarm police and people. How about let their own police station in Seattle get taken over and do nothing. Embarrassing. So sick of tail tucking. What do you all think will happen with this...
Read moreBeing new to the area I heard amazing things about legendary donuts. I handed my son-in-law my credit card and said go get a dozen donuts for Sunday morning. He came back with three giant black boxes filled with 13 super jumbo giant donuts, none like I ever knew in New York, it was almost too much. We ate donuts for 3 days... And still had some left. We are a very big boned and enthusiastic foodie family oh, so large portions are the norm, but this was definitely sugar overload. I don't have any complaints about the donuts they were very very good, with the exception of what I thought was Boston cream which turned out to be more like cheesecake, which made me hesitate for a minute oh, but it did grow on me. Legendary donuts are definitely legendary. Start small, and don't go for the whole dozen, AKA baker's dozen, unless you have at least 20 people who want donuts. They are very good, and for the portion size price accordingly.
Two adults can definitely split one donut, or you could split it among for kids. So the bang for the buck is worth it. I only left a star off because the dozen donuts I bought were shockingly more than I've ever spend for donuts before, and now I understand that I was paying for the portion size and not a generic Krispy Kreme type donut.
It's definitely on the radar for impressing the...
Read moreThe fist time I ordered from legendary donuts was on a Thursday around 10am. I ordered two boxes from the Covington location. Total cost $30 plus tax. I think it was a dozon. The donuts looked wonderful! However, they tasted like they where baked 24 hours in advance. The donuts tasted Cold and some tasted stale. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I ordered at 10am and thought I missed the early "Fresh" batch.
The second time I ordered from legendary donuts was on a friday around 7:15am. I ordered 2 boxes from the Covington location. Total cost was again $30 plus tax. Once again, the donuts looked wonderful! However, the donuts where cold and some tasted stale (AGAIN). I was completely disappointed. I thought that by getting up early in the morning I would receive warm freshly baked donuts. I was wrong.
Overall, the presentation is fabulous! However, the tasted/quality is poor. I will never order from Legendary donuts again. Unless they change the taste/freshness of their donuts. Honestly, Safeway's (or any Grocery store's) freshly baked donuts taste 10 times better and the...
