Happy Pho Teriyaki — Restaurant in Covington

Family and I decided we wanted take out tonight and what better place to order from than Happy Pho Time. Atleast so we thought. We ordered online for pick up. Granted there's a lot of us so we had over 15 items ordered and we knew it would be a little while... we don't usually add the tip online because we always leave cash but apparently that became an issue for the staff. My mom and sister went in to pick up our order, they got the food, went outside to load it in the car and came back inside to add one more thing and leave their tip. To their suprise, the staff denied to take my mom's order for some spring rolls, and told her they would not accept any orders from her because they were "too busy" and our online order had already taken up too much of their time... we work in the service industry ourselves and never would we or any restaurant deny taking someone's order and also blame them for taking up too much of the restaurants time. Long story short and to top off the rude servers/cashiers our order was incomplete. We have frequented Happy Pho many times before and never would have thought they'd be that rude and disrespectful to anyone. We won't be visiting them any more and Its unfortunate that they jumped to conclusions based off the online order. Gratuity is based off of service provided and had they not been rude and unprofessional, they would have received the tip we were going...

First off, the high chair I was brought so my child could join us at the table had cracks all over it and my husband had to kick a spot on it to put it back together. No other option was presented or offered but the high chair is not safe. No apology was offered, he treated it like it wasn't a big deal. It will be if my son falls to the floor because you don't have proper furniture. While the serving was huge the broth for my husband's pho was bland. I ordered almond chicken and teriyaki chicken combo, again gigantic portion, but the almond chicken wasn't very good and I didn't even take it home with me. The service was alright but I found the guy serving us to be a bit dim. I asked for a straw for my water so I could share with my toddler and he didn't know what I asked. HORRIBLE , HORRIBLE , HORRIBLE

I been going to this place for awhile , the last owners really gave a big portions of food and it was good priced . but now the new owners hiked the price up and don't give as much food . i just went there , literally 30 minutes ago . i was really really disappointed. I got the special #1 . it was $16.95 and i got literally 7 peices of teriyaki , 10 pieces of sweet and sour chicken ( yes i counted them ) that was soggy . the salad was turning brown . i called them up and told them that its absolutely ridiculous that they are charging much for this . i told the owner that they are charging more and giving less and its not ok . i also said that i could have went to Apple bees and got to meals for the same price . i have no idea how this place has a 4.2 rating. Ill never becoming back here again , there are much better places...
