I recently had the pleasure of seeing Shylah for a color transformation, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! We went from my natural brown color to a gorgeous lived-in blonde, and she absolutely nailed it. The dimension she created is stunning – the way she blended the colors is so seamless and flattering. It’s the perfect balance of bright and natural, and I love how low-maintenance it will be as it grows out.
One thing I really appreciated was Shylah’s transparency from the start. She took the time to present me with three different options to achieve the look I wanted, each with slight variations. She also provided a complete estimated breakdown of the cost, the time involved, and the maintenance required for each option. It made me feel confident in my decision and helped me choose the best approach for my me.
What made the experience even better was how Shylah shared insights throughout the process. She explained each step in a way that was both interesting and easy to understand, which made me appreciate the artistry and skill behind the transformation even more.
Beyond her amazing talent, Shylah is warm, professional, and truly listens to what you want while offering her expert guidance. If you’re looking for someone who can deliver beautiful, dimensional color with flawless blending—and provide honest, clear communication along the way—I highly recommend booking with her....
Read moreI came in to get a brazilian blowout. The service, professionalism, and my stylist were great, but the price by the end concerned me a bit. Starting price for a brazilian blowout is $200, and can go up from there depending on how thick or long your hair is. My hair is fine and ended up being in the businesses 'long hair' category. Just the treatment alone, my total ended up being $370 before the tip. I was confused how $170 was added just because of the length of my 'long hair' that reaches down to my chest. I should have asked for a quote first (that is something your stylist can do) beforehand, but I just didn't imagine that hair as thin as mine and at my length could add $170 to the already $200 treatment. If I had asked for a quote, I wouldn't have ended up getting my hair done. I would recommend asking for a quote just in case it's not something you're willing to pay for. Even for thin hair like mine, the price apparently racks up quite quickly for a brazilian blowout. Other than the pricing, the experience...
Read moreVery disappointing attempt to get my daughter’s hair cut. I sat in the waiting area listening to the stylist as she tried to convince my daughter to get a different hair cut than she wanted. About 5 minutes later, my daughter and the stylist came back into the waiting area. The stylist then tells me she’s not experienced with the hair cut and doesn’t feel comfortable being the one to give my daughter that cut.
While that may in fact be true for that stylist, I think it would have been wise for her to acknowledge that immediately instead of trying to convince my daughter to change what she wanted. Also, considering some of the owners responses to other complaints, I’m not holding my breath for a reasonable resolution. I’ll just go elsewhere, which I’m certain won’t bother anyone at Studio H in the slightest. I’m only giving the review so that potential new clients are aware that some of the stylists are not fully competent (my daughter wanted a style that is currently a very common and...
