This shopping section is made up mostly of restaurants and does not offer a full "outlet mall" experience so please be aware -your not going shopping per say. 70% of stores are restaurants with the exception of one of its main building being hair salons offering mini units to stylist. The main stores that people are familiar with are Academy (there are no other big brand stores for last minute sports supplies so this is extremely convenient), PetCo for all of your family pet 🐩needs, Kohls_I never shop here so can't rate it, Kirklands_a decor store for homes, Hobby Lobby crafts store, Buffalo Wild Wings , The Escape Room_family friendly games ♟, Crackle Barrel_Restaurant and Store now serving alcohol, Steak and Shak, & Olive Garden. On the opposite side of the interstate seats a movie theater, best buy, food, Ulta Beauty, JCPenny and so on. No gas stations exist on either side of the shopping centers frontal streets. The closest one from the interstate is at the Nord Du Lac side and is mostly congested due to the newly built Ocshner Facility. Not great. Not bad. Read moreStill a good place to shop and eat . The entire Saga of The Pinnacle Shopping Center is a long one. It was due to begin planning / Construction either right before or right after Hurricane Katrina. Not only that, the people of the community ran off Walmart and Sam's Club saying they did not want big box retail. Another strike was the economic downturn of 2008. During the whole 3-year.period, It was dealt major blows that left it limping along. No one has a Krystal ball- hindsight is 20/20- but I wish they could have continued building it out. In my estimation, people go to Mandeville, Slidell, Hammond, and Lakeside Shopping Center to do big shopping/ entertainment. Is it too late to turn Pinnacle Shopping Center Covington, around? Only Time will tell - 2019. Edit -July 25th 2025: thank goodness they put a Costco in the dead spaces of this shopping center!( I think it's been open for almost a year?) they should have done this 20 years ago but it's better late...
