Hobby Lobby — Local services in Cranberry Township

Had an issue with a sale miscommunication between different stores. Cashier(s) were rude and automatically jumped on me as being argumentative when they refused to even listen to the question I was asking and confused about. Without a doubt there was a language barrier, which prompted a second cashier to come over to “help” … point at the flyer and being yelled at and told “I am NOT going to argue with you, I’m getting my manager” “I told you so” and “go back to the store usually go to” is absolutely uncalled for.

The manager was quite nice, so no issues with him, it was an easy explanation and he understood that it was likely that the store I went to earlier in the week may have accidentally left a sign up from the previous week. The two cashiers are the reason I am writing this review. I’ll probably be in touch with corporate too.

I frequent hobby lobby often, as I am a small business and use many items for my art. I understand the holidays are busy and customers may be difficult, but I am not that kind of customer. I come from a line of customer service background and know that even if the customer isn’t right, you don’t belittle them in front of everyone.

It was embarrassing for me to be yelled at and talked down to in front of a busy check out area with lots of people.

I will definitely not be back to this location. For a new store, the cashiers need better training on how to handle issues regarding sale issues/confusion...

New and nice location! Parking here is sort of a nightmare since that plaza is always bustling with people and Giant Eagle is right there. You have to do a loop around to park as well since one lane has “do not enter” signs.

This hobby lobby is nice and similar to others. Theres all kinda of trinkets and stuff to look at, fully stocked. The lobby area is nicer than other locations that I been too, not as cluttered and nicely laid out. I didnt get as overwhelmed.

Wow. What horrible management! I’m standing in line a couple people in front of me no big deal. But there’s an old lady and middle aged lady with dark hair (who was at a register) standing there bitching about people called off. Well this young girl ringing me up did a great job. Sadly the line began to grow and the two older ladies did nothing but stand around complaining letting the young girl do all the work. I will never come back to this location! I felt so bad...
