I had been looking for the Perfect Charger for me for months! I probably reviewed thousands of vehicles to find the right one. I wanted something that was well taken care of, low miles, and had to "feel" right! I had contacted other dealerships that would tell me what I wanted to hear, or that were not caring if they even sold a vehicle, or the ones that would add on "made up" fees. Then one day as I was scrolling through some cars, I noticed this beautiful 2018 Dodge Charger SXT. It immediately caught my attention. It was MY color, a stunning yellow perfectly accented with black racing stickers. The car was SHARP! And it only had 7K miles. I called York Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat right away. I had the privilege of speaking with Toby. Toby took his time and answered all of my questions. There was no sales pitch, no pressure, just being totally customer centered. We connected. The car even though perfect was more than I thought I wanted to pay for a car, but considering the condition and having reviewed many cars, I knew the price was extremely competitive. With the support of my wife, I knew I could not let this car get away. Problem was that I lived in Utah. The car was in Indiana. And Memorial Day was coming. With the encouragement of Toby, we decided to put a deposit down on the car so they could hold it without selling it out from under me. It gave me time to work out financing AND get plane tickets. They even came to pick us up at the airport! Everyone we met from York treated us with respect and professionalism! We dealt with Toby and Nathan (two sales reps) and even spoke with Cory the General Manager who called to follow up with our purchase to make sure we were treated well. Even Billy the finance guy was fun to deal with as we signed the paperwork and handed over that BIG Check! York Chrysler does it right! They made the whole purchase and experience made us...
Read moreWhile traveling my car had a recall that needed to be done. Being 2,000 miles away from home, I was hesitant of getting my car worked on out in the middle of nowhere, Crawfordsville Indiana. I made an appointment and had to wait sometime for the pieces to be delivered. They reassured me that it would be free seeing that it was for my recall. I had actually purchased a battery; thinking that is why my car was stalling at first. The woman (Parts receptionist) who I spoke with on the phone on several occasions was very friendly and nice. She always had a pleasant voice and answered with a smile. I parked my car overnight seeing that I had an early Monday morning appointment. The drive out there was very smooth and easy even though it is about 40 miles from Indianapolis. They had a convenient drop box on the parts door. The receptionist had warn me that it could take 4 to 6 hours before my vehicle would be done. With it taking a little bit longer (seeing that they volunteered to put my old battery back in my vehicle that I preferred anyway) I was now without a way of getting up there to pick up my Fiat before closing time. They actually bought me my car back with installing my battery, free of charge, during extreme Rush hour traffic and to top it off I believe they even put a gallon of gas in my vehicle. Seeing that I was getting work done to the fuel line I did not fill up my tank before dropping it off to get serviced. When the mechanic dropped off my vehicle he would not accept a tip, he just told me they are all ole country guys, out in the middle of nowhere that love working on cars lol. Well to my country guys, it has been a month and my Fiat is still running better than ever! I appreciate your professionalism, and the quality of work that you put into my vehicle. Have a wonderful year. If anybody is wondering where to go to get your vehicle serviced; this dealership did an excellent...
Read moreI do not recommend York, they were terrible to work with and the communication was awful. I bought the car from them, exactly 1 year later the cars engine needed replaced. That’s what they told me, it’s actually just a piston ring and can be fixed for 12,000 cheaper than they told me I needed to pay. They wanted an absurd amount to fix it after they took a month to even give me an estimate, that they also charged for. Within a couple weeks I politely declined and asked they just put my car back together and I will pick it up and it needs to be in the same condition (running & drivable). After me blowing there phones up, I find out the guy who was working on it was fired & they lost several several parts, so they had to order everything to put it back together. The technician was great and kept me updated on everything! Now the service manager, awful. He didn’t want to guy to work on it because we weren’t a paying customer anymore. So as I continue blowing there phones up for months, it’s finally back together and can be picked up. It took 1 year and 3 months, that is absolutely ridiculous. And the best part was it had been done for 3 weeks and they “accidentally” forgot to call and let me know. When i clarified that my balance was zero, the service manager had the audacity to say “well I had to pay a new technician and buy all those parts to put it back together”, excuse me that’s not my fault. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, and I would not recommend...
