I recently called the Crawfordsville store to simply ask if they could hold an item I seen online until the next day when I could come in and purchase it as I couldn't make it in before closing due to my schedule and it said it was in limited quantity at that time. The MANAGER took my call, and when I asked if they could hold it for me until the next day, she responded with, and I quote, "I'm not in the holding business, I'm in the selling business ".I couldn't believe what I had just heard, especially from a so called manager!?! Needless to say,I didn't buy it,and will NEVER spend another cent at that store ever again as long as said person is managing ANYTHING there. I would rather drive out of state and spend my money elsewhere at a place where customer service is important, especially to the manager. It was quite obvious to me from one simple question that it's definitely NOT the case at the Crawfordsville store. This person cost that store [and maybe all] what used to be a very loyal customer. What a terrible shame!! This person shouldn't be working in management (obviously) and in my opinion should be fired for being so rude for no reason. Customer relations classes for everyone sounds like a great idea. Shame on her for being SO disrespectful, and shame on you for letting it continue without serious consequences. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN...[This interaction took place on 6/26/24...

Read moreWent in to purchase a gun as a woman who lives alone. I began looking at guns in the case and the man ignored me. A male customer came up and he immediately said “can I help you find something?” and began helping him. When I made my choice, I told him which one I liked. The man at the counter was incredibly sexist, accused me of trying to buy it for “a boyfriend who couldn’t have one”, and ultimately refused to sell it to me. He wasn’t wearing a name tag but he was an older guy with white hair and glasses. This was incredibly discriminatory as I was denied access to a service due to...
