Was not impressed. We were traveling through and wanted to try a local establishment. I was first surprised that they didn’t serve fountain drinks or water- only bottled which is overpriced. Not having water was a bit bothersome. I ordered the margarita and as you can see, burnt and very very little cheese. The one slice that is gone was bare without cheese. I mentioned it to the cook and he stated that since it was fresh mozzarella it doesn’t get anymore than that. That would have been somewhat understandable but they should still place the cheese accordingly so that all slices have some substance. I had also added mushrooms to my pizza… don’t do it. Just canned rubbery mushrooms that tasted like aluminum. My fiancés pizza (BBQ chicken) was ok. We both agreed, although we like thin crust, this was way too thin. Pizzas were only in the oven for 3-4 minutes and they came out burnt. And chewy. Lastly, we had gelato. I had the sorbet which was full of so much artificial syrup flavoring, I couldn’t stomach it. My fiancé stated his maple pecan was decent but not his favorite. Overall, was disappointed by the food, staff were not rude, overall appeasing. We won’t return...
Read moreI have been wanting to try this place for some time. Their gelato is so rich and creamy. We tried the Ube, maple butter pecan and the cookies n cream. They were so good. The Ube was definitely my favorite by far!
It only took 15 mins to get our food after ordering.
We tried a Thrive Brew Kombucha. My husband thought it was a fancy lemon lime soda pop originally. 🤣 It wasn't that, but it was delicious. First kombucha that didn't have an over powering fermented taste. It was really mellow and you were able to taste all the flavor notes in it.
We got a large jalapeno popper pizza, pepperoni sticks with nacho cheese and cheesy garlic bread. They made a 40 mins drive home. The jalapeno popper pizza is so good. It's a thin crust with dabs of cream cheese, fresh jalapenos, mozzarella cheese and a savory sweet light BBQ sauce. If you cant do spicy, you can still enjoy this pizza. Oh my goodness the cheesy garlic bread was amazing. They used legitimate minced garlic and there is no words for how delicious these were.
The owner was very friendly and nice. Super helpful and you can tell he cared about his business. Our family recommends you stop here...
Read moreWildfire 348 has a lot going for it as a family-owned, local spot that we want to support. The pizza menu is full of unique flavors and creative options that stand out from the usual fare, which makes it a place you'd want to crave and return to regularly. However, the inconsistency in their orders is a significant drawback.
There have been times when the pizza is generously topped and full of flavor, making the experience fantastic. But unfortunately, there are just as many times when the toppings are sparse, even when we've paid extra for them. It's disappointing to receive a pizza/sides that feels incomplete, especially when the potential for greatness is clearly there.
For now, it's a 3-star experience, but we're hopeful that with time and attention to consistency, Wildfire 348 can deliver on its promise more reliably. If they can iron out these issues, this could easily become a 5-star favorite in the community. We’ll keep our fingers crossed and continue supporting them, hoping to see those stars climb...
