I can’t really rave about the food from my experience. Between all of us, we got three Carne Asada, a chicken taco, a cheese, quesadilla, and everybody got a side of rice and refried beans. The refried beans were very watery and were a hint of purple, I’ve never seen them that color before? The cheese that was drizzled on top was barely melted and actually kind of cold and the rice was just that, rice. But as far as the main dishes, I couldn’t say that they were the best in Crestwood. Found this gem by chance on a day trip with my mom, we are AZ natives and just moved to Cincinnati from Brownsville TX and have sincerely missed good food we grew up eating! WOW!!! NOT ONLY was the food fantastic, the portions were enormous for the price, they have a wide selection of Hispanic snacks, spices, chilies, masa, and the best variety of drinks I have the hardest time finding!! I'm from San Diego (home of incredible, authentic Mexican food) and I've been struggling to find a good burrito for the past 3 years that I've lived in Louisville - not even joking. There are some chains I really enjoy such as Taco City and Bandidos, but it's not the same authentic taste I'm used to. I'm here to say I've FINALLY found my go-to Mexican food!!!
