If you are looking for an authentic local Chinese restaurant in Forsyth County (that is not part of a chain), then look no further! The owner, Johnny, was as nice as could be. He walked around his restaurant welcoming people, asking his customers how their food was and even greeted people as they walked in. While I was there during dinner I watched him sit down with the servers and roll up utensils. He even helped bus food out from the kitchen and refilled drinks. I bring this up because not many owners, let alone managers, would do half of what I watched him do. That really speaks volumes of his character as a leader. I hope that he remains this way as time goes on as it will only benefit the business of his restaurant and his employees!
I ordered their pan-fried dumplings as an appetizer and Sesame Chicken with fried rice as my entree. Once I placed my order, the steamed dumplings were out within 5-7 minutes. The sesame chicken was out within 15 afterwards.
Their pan-fried dumplings are light in flavor with a hint of saltiness from the pork inside. The bottom of the dumpling was lightly fried which gave it a nice crispy texture mixed with the soft doughy texture of the rest of the dumpling. I personally enjoyed the dumplings more when I dipped them in the soy sauce rather then without. The soy sauce had a hint of sweetness which enhanced the flavor of the pork immensely.
I've had Sesame chicken at many different Chinese restaurants and can officially say that this restaurant's sesame sauce is delectable! It's sweet from the brown sugar yet salty and zesty from the soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger and garlic flavors all blended together! The texture of their sesame sauce is sticky like honey which I prefer as well. Some Chinese restaurant's sauces are watered down and runny which is not enjoyable in my opinion.
The pan-fried dumplings were $7.50 and the sesame chicken was $13.00 BEFORE TAX. The fried rice was a $0.50 up charge.
Keep up the excellent work you guys! I will be stopping in again soon to try your General Tso's chicken which was highly...

Being new to the area, we decided to stop for lunch. Worst decision. After being seated and explaining it was our first time, the waitress took our drink order. She returned one minute later with the sweetest sweet tea my southern husband has ever had and could not drink. She asked if we knew what we wanted. No, we’re new to this restaurant and we’ve been seated for all of 90 seconds. Returning one minute later, hubby orders the Mongolian Triple with Wonton Soup and I ordered Orange Chicken with Egg Drop soup. She brought the soups and walked away without a word. I had to retrieve my own silverware. The soups were fine. Not a lot of flavor. Before we had taken two sips of soup, she brings out the main dishes and pushes them onto the table as we quickly move our soups out of the way. Again I have to retrieve chopsticks because she darted off. The Mongolian Triple had two shrimp, two small pieces of chicken, and three tiny slivers of meat. My orange chicken was….so sweet yet so flavorless. The ‘fried rice’ tasted dry and flavorless. It really reminded us more of brown rice. When we asked for a to go container, she returned with the plastic ticket holder inside the box where the food is supposed to go. Before we could sign and pack the food, which we ended up leaving, she was back picking up plates with a rag ready to wipe the table. It was 1:30 pm (they close at 2:30) and they only had 3 other tables. Not only was the food lackluster, we felt like she couldn’t wait to get rid of us. Will not be back and will...
Read moreMy husband had dinner at Chopsticks (Cumming) last night, we frequented a bit more before our son graduated highschool so we hadnt been in a minute.
The remodel looks very, very nice. The food?... S P L E N D E D!!! YES, yes, yes!!! Tasty, cooked well, we enjoyed every single appetizer and entree and sushi we ordered (ALL a 10+ worth our time and cash 😋). I hope they keep this level of food quality, taste, service up. This time we tried different dishes we'd had in past. Everything was delicious and pleasing. The manager came out and thank us for dining.
(* EDITMay 4th, 2019 We're back again, and I've ordered take out twice since our last dine in experience.
You can pay for more expensive sushi someplace else if you prefer, but you don't have to...Chopsticks has super. Sushi and that's not all. Everything we've tried on their menu has been a 10, they never disappoint. Knock on wood.
