Grand China was a great experience! When you first pull up and walk in, it looks like it is a take out only restaurant but they do have a few tables to sit down and eat. The gentleman working when we went was an excellent server on top of handling all of the take out orders they had. We were there on a Thursday night and the phone was ringing non stop with orders. We had the chicken lo mein and the general tso combo meal. The combination came with wonton soup which was probably the best I have ever had. Wontons were full of meat and the broth was flavorful. The egg roll was standard but good. The special fried rice that came with the meal was a highlight for me! The general tso was sweeter than other places but still good. The chicken lo mein had lots of veggies and chicken. Overall, don’t judge this place by its cover. The food was excellent and well priced!

We visit this restaurant often, usually every 1–2 weeks, and it never disappoints. The egg drop soup is our absolute favorite and always hits the spot. My husband especially enjoys the roast duck, and we usually order sides like steamed veggies or fried wontons, which are always fresh and tasty. The service is consistently great, with staff who are attentive and kind. One thing we truly appreciate is how accommodating they are with our dietary needs, as we avoid pork, shellfish, and oyster sauce. It’s a reliable, welcoming spot we look forward to every time.

Stephanie was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. They seem to have a huge take out service. Friendly service greets his customers by name. My husband had sliced pork and veggies. He raved how tender and delicious it was. I had pork and pan fried noodles. My first time it was delicious and plentiful. I will probably get 3 meals from it. Even down to the tea it was special fragrant and fruity. It is not pretty inside but it is clean and the food is great. Probably why the take-out side of business is thriving.

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in Cutler Bay!

Grand China on Dixie Highway is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in South Florida. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted like family—and no one embodies that spirit more than Stephen, the incredible waiter who makes every visit unforgettable. He consistently goes above and beyond, treating every table with care, warmth, and genuine hospitality. You feel like you’re being hosted by an old friend.

And the food? Simply remarkable. Every dish is packed with flavor, made fresh, and tastes like it came straight from a beloved family kitchen. It’s that kind of comforting, soulful cooking that reminds you of cherished home-cooked meals—only better. Whether you’re craving something classic or trying something new, every bite feels like it was made with love.

If you’re in the area (or even if you’re not), do yourself a favor and visit Grand China. You’ll be blown away by the food, the service, and the heartfelt atmosphere. A true Cutler...

From the second you walk in, you’re hit with the smell of incredible food and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at ease. The staff are always kind, fast, and genuinely happy to see you it’s the kind of place that remembers your order and asks how your day is going especially this one employee julie, she knows the flow and always greets me with a kind smile. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish is packed with flavor and clearly made with care. The fried rice is perfectly cooked, the orange chicken is crispy and just the right amount of sweet, and the spring rolls? Don’t even think about skipping them. Everything tastes fresh and satisfying, like real home-cooked comfort food. It’s not fancy, and that’s what makes it special. It’s real, honest, delicious food made by people who care and it shows in every bite. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re seriously missing out. Trust me, once you go, you’ll keep...

We ate in for lunch. At first I thought they only accepted take-out because most of the dining area was cluttered with boxes and personal items of the employees. But a few booths were reserved for customers. We were the only customers there the whole time. Any one else who came in was picking up to-go orders. The service was attentive. Either the waitress was simply not talkative, or her English was rudimentary, but it did not affect the quality of our experience. The food was good, the service was good, everyone was kind. I felt that the booth and table were clean enough. It is a very casual spot and I believe most people would choose not to dine in because of the rather messy appearance of the interior, but it's fine if you came in with very close friends or a significant other fora very informal affair. I chose to eat in because I'm tired of sitting at home, lol! Thanks for the good food and service! Low prices, too....
