BMC Pho Lincoln — Restaurant in Buena Park

I really wanted to like this place. The service is great, the prices are good, the selection is interesting.

However I ordered the vegetarian soup and the raspberry lemonade. The raspberry lemonade tasted almost like perfumed water with a hint of raspberry and lime. Not a whole lot of flavor.

The vegetarian pho was even worse. The broth had no flavor. I had to use several packets of soy sauce and a couple packets of hoisin to try to make it palatable, and even then I stopped trying to consume the broth and just went straight for the rest of the meal.

Again, the service was excellent and the prices were great. If you're not getting something vegetarian, this place might be worth it. But if you are going for a vegetarian option, find somewhere...

First we ordered sandwich, the lady counter told me 5more minutes, i agreed. But it took me 40 minutes wait. Today (May 13) we ordered M3 Beef Stew. Sad to say, the cashier is disrespectful, he said something that I don't understand, i asked him what was it? He just moved his head left to right. They served noodles with less soup, i decided not eat or to go instead. So i went to the cashier and asked for extra soup, he said i need to pay $2.50, it's ok if that's the policy. One guy came from the kitchen and said... we don't give extra soup then he left! Rude and disrespectful. Bad customer service or maybe because am asian. Swapping rating from 4 to 1 star. Went back again for more Bahn mi / bbq pork sandwiches and they hardly have any meat in them compared to first experience. Will not be returning if they are so inconsistent with their service and food. Unsatisfied. First time coming here, plenty of parking spaces, only few tables, but all other customers we saw ordered to go. I think the place used to be Arby's. Ordered Beef noodle soup, shrimp fried rice, and BBQ pork baguette, dine in. The soup was really tasty without it being too salty. I didn't try the fried rice but was told it was very good as well.
