It's just not a little but a huge crush on this canjun seafood I had recently at @thecrabshack_cypress
Large roomy space where you don't feel you're literally sitting next to a stranger who you don't even know.
What I ate: • Combo #1 | Pick any three items. Includes two corn, three potatoes and four pork sausages. I chose 1lb each: crawfish, shrimp (non-peeled with head), and clams They have the option of peeled shrimp for additional $, but for me, you need that head of the shrimp for the overall taste and experience You can also choose mussels which I don't usually do. Choice of sauce: Garlic Butter Sauce, Cajun Lemon Sauce, or Cajun House Special I choose the cajun House Special Spicy 🔥 level: Medium with spicy on the side.
• Crab Shack Wings | Fried chicken wings with crab shack seasoning That seasoning was perfect. Not overpowering at all and smash well when you dip it into ranch.
They have two options of garlic fries • Garlic Fries | Basic - Crispy fries tossed in garlic with Parmesan cheese. Or • Crab Shack Garlic Fries | Crispy fries tossed in Cajun spices, garlic with Parmesan cheese. Guess which one I chose
Of course I'm no basic 🤣 The extra garlic fries was recommended by the waiter and he was definitely right. We all need that Cajun spice in our life
• Garlic Noodle | Garlic butter noodles with shrimp and pork sausage, Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. Everything about this dish is amazing. My daughter would eat this up. It's also good as leftovers. I think I am all garlic out...not 🚫 I love 🧄 More please
• Burger + Fries | Cajun seasoning meat, bacon, American cheese, onion and coleslaw, house Cajun mayo The meat was thiiiiiick! You're definitely getting a mouthful of everything. I definitely love the mayo. Would order it on the side to dip my fries into
• Beer | I chose not to order a beer but when it came out I end up drinking 80% of hers and end up being mine 🤣 My friend had to order another and when it came out she said don't drink it 🤣
I definitely need to come back here again. For their seafood but also for their other options of appetizer and favorites they have to offer Let's go

Read moreThis restaurant's menu reads "cajun style fusion seafood restaurant, influenced by the culinary style of the South." A billing that has the potential to be a problem, when someone actually from New.Orleans pays you a visit. (see my review of Emeril's MGM, Las Vegas).
As it turns out the offerings we sampled during our stay here were pretty good. A little different from what we were accustomed to (po-boys served on french rolls instead of po-boy bread, "dressed" - that means with tomato and lettuce, for you locals - with coleslaw in place of the latter). And their cajun mayo... close.
But otherwise their catfish and shrimp po-boys, and fried oyster plate all were interestingly spiced. Tasty zesty fries, too.
The po-boys were quite filling even without the generous helping of fries, and the 13.99 price would be a good value even back home.
Will surely pay this one a return visit...
Read moreWe had a boil, calamari, garlic fries, and garlic noodles. More than enough to share between 3 people probably could have fed four we had significant leftovers and we were all stuffed. The garlic noodles were to die for,and the calamari was excellent(actual rings and tentacles) and all the seafood in the boil was delicious. Anything in the boil that was not Seafood however, was just okay. The service was just okay too. Our first waitress obviously had no patience for my brother's dry humor and tagged out I've been a waitress so I understand but she really have an attitude also. And the electronic menus were not compatible with my phone. Also the current prices were not listed anywhere that we could find. And I'm not talking about the market value quote for the seafood I'm talking about for everything else. Despite those things I...
