7-Eleven — Local services in Dallas

Normally I only stop here for gas because it's right on my way in/out of the Cedar Springs area (where I have my optometrist, dentist, etc), but today there was more to my visit. I already liked going here because I consistently have better fuel economy with the gas here than all but one other place in DFW. (Yes, I track every fill-up and record the miles driven, estimated miles remaining, car-calculated mpg, fuel grade, gallons pumped, etc.) Anyway, I had to go inside because I had a couple of issues I hadn't experienced there before. The inside of the store was very neat and clean, and there were 3 men working behind the counter to efficiently process the queue of customers. When my turn was up, I told the staffer that my pump # was having issues with the vapor recovery system (along with supporting details not relevant here) and that [likely because of that] it had registered pumping about half a gallon more than it should have. The gentleman pressed some buttons on a system, possible to disable that pump, and offered me a car wash voucher as gratitude for reporting the issue to them (presumable as opposed to the TDA) so they could address it. Bought a car wash from the pump.... But it wasn't working .... Why would it sell the car wash if the car wash isn't working? I came back today and still not working. I went in to ask what was the issue and they basically argued with me that I didn't try to wash it yesterday and said it was working yesterday and they said it was working today til 7pm but I was here at 8:40am today and it wasn't functional. A lady this or morning tried to get a refund and they denied her... Just as they did me tonight. I know it can't always be working but arguing with me like I made it up and didn't try to wash my car? Come on, would anyone really want to lie about whether its working or not? Their response was wash it tomorrow.. I bought the car wash because I needed to wash my car, yesterday! I came back today and now they say tomorrow again. I never have had a good experience at this 7-11. I have to give it a single star and that is solely for location only. I have made two trips for nothing. Hopefully no one will ever buy a carwash from here or gas for that matter. Apparently they are keeping the money cause I cant see where...

This location does “NOT” deserve 1 star. Rude older gentleman behind the counter. My sandwich would not scan, he said, go get another, it won’t scan!!! I told him that it is his JOB to do that not mine. That is horrible customer service and you do not treat your customers like that. Stupidly I changed it when I should have walked out! Then he did not offer a bag, nothing, had his head raised up at me, if I did not have 5 items I wouldn’t have cared. I asked for a bag and he stood there doing nothing, I asked again, then he gave me one. He kept mumbling something to me, I could not understand his English. I have shopped at that store daily for almost 5 yrs., “NEVER” again. You all keep going down in service, store cleanliness, pan handlers, this is...
