I visited this park to attend the Texas Veggie Fair. I don’t know..maybe I missed something...but I didn’t witness anything extraordinary at this event.

It should be called the Texas Vegan Fair not a ‘veggie fair.’

I was hoping to see local farmers with produce. Maybe vegetarian type apparel, info, and foods too. But it was not a vegetarian festival it was a vegan event. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, just the event title is misleading.

The fair consisted of vegan food trucks, food vendors, arts and crafts, holistic approaches for well being and other miscellaneous businesses. Actually much smaller than I expected though.

Literally just a bunch of tents set up with people selling over priced items (ie grocery tote bags $25). Many of the vendors didn’t even bother to acknowledge me when I approached their booths so why would I even consider making a purchase??

There was basically no where to sit if you decided to grab a bite..unless you brought a blanket. And since it happened to be on a day after rain the grounds were muddy and wet.

Parking wasn’t terrible (I went around 430p). But overall the experience was a disappointment. I’m just glad there wasn’t...

It must be park season because I got off work around 7:30 PM and headed here to meet my friend to drop off his “Rated R Adult Basket” that I made for him. I pulled up and, of course, it was crowded. My friend was full of excitement when he saw his basket. He had just finished working out and was sweating profusely. I, of course, provided him with towels and water so he could cool off. My friend said to me, “Summer, Mama, you look different in this teal dress with beige rhinestone heels. You smell good, and I see you’re losing weight, when you start getting off late” Suddenly, an unknown woman who was working out walked up to me and asked where I had gotten my dress and heels from. I stated to her” Angel Brinks for dresses and Christian Louboutin”.🥰🥰 I was encouraged to work out at this park. Remember, I have my own parks to work out at. Haha, I told them I’m a loner. Of course, I received another basket order from a customer who also works out at this park and loves my friend’s...

I frequently utilize the park to excersize and in my free time I will choose from the many opportune places to either picnic, read a book, have a siesta or perhaps find your inner artist. When im not enjoying my free time, Im passing through because the park provides me a shortcut to work that spares me from the nightmare and risk involved when trying to safetly maneuver my way through the Chaos and many dangers generated by both morning and evening traffic. However, I have to admit that when I take into consideration all the noise from the non stop construction and the millions of cars speeding up and down the highways that surround us and sit very close by... Somehow even still with ALL things considered, it absolutely amazes me how the park maintains such a peaceful atmosphere and still continues to harbor such a warm and safe environment that people come back to enjoy. So while it may not be so well hidden, its still a...

Reverchon is such a beautiful park with plenty of walkways and a huge children's play area that's covered. There's plenty of seating covered by trees, open space for picnics and it connects directly to Katy Trail. Right off of Maple is the community center, with basketball courts right behind it and a baseball field further down. There's a creek with fish and turtles that runs throughout the park. One negative are all the transient people sleeping on the pathways and by the rec center. Overall this is our go to park in Dallas because it always well kept, with plenty of open fields and the huge children's area. Cleanliness 5/5 Parking 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5

My wife and I were at the Turtle Creek Fall Art Festival on Sunday, October the 6th. The art and crafts had different styles of acrylic paintings from painters from Texas and also from Africa too. There were crafts of glass, wood, jewelry, pewter and pottery. They also had photographs from around the world and drawings of animal's done with carbon pencil. Also solid rock figurines of animal's from Africa. Dog collars hand- made too. Three mobile food trucks one serving Greek food, the other lobster food and the other ice cream. We had a veggie pita and a gyro hamburger and boy the both were delicious. The art festival was very beautiful.

A really peaceful park where you can take a break from the city. I enjoy walking here, sitting on a bench, and just relaxing by the trees and water. There are some unique touches too — old stone bridges and quiet, tucked-away spots that make it feel special 🌳☀️🌿. On the downside, some park elements are a bit run-down, and there are homeless people living under the bridges along Turtle Creek. They’ve never acted aggressive when I’ve been around, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall, it’s a beautiful place to unwind, enjoy nature, and find a little calm in the middle of Dallas. Take it easy and touch some grass 🍃😌🌱
