Sunrise Donuts — Restaurant in Dallas

Discovered this place a few years ago and beyond glad I did. Might just be donuts and kolaches, but brings me absolute joy every time I get a chance to grab some. I can almost always depend on them to have glazed donuts and kolaches available and the customer service is always polite and helpful. They've also put in a ton of effort to keep both their customers and their employees safe during the pandemic. Dallas needs more places with the character of Sunrise Donuts.

Sunrise donuts was exceptional!

I had the ham, cheese, and egg croissant which was filling and very delicious. It was also only $2.50!!! Which is insane for how much you grt and how filling it is. The croissant was fluffy and the ingredients used were quality. I also tried their maple donut which was also very delicious, it was just the right amount of sweet and the texture was perfect. Lastly, the service was superb. The owner was very attentive, efficient, and polite. Her shop was definitely practicing safety during the pandemic and everything, down to the donut trays, were neat and clean.

We will definitely be coming...

Omg. Got there at 6:09am (they open at 5:00). Doughnuts were still warm. Had a cinnamon roll and a long John. Need to get out of town before I gain 100lbs. Doughnuts were light and airy.

Staff was very friendly. Small place. They don’t have an overwhelming number of choices. But more than enough for me. There were some breakfasty looking pastries with meat and stuff. I only had eyes for the sweets. Stopping there on way to airport even though I swore only one doughnut run per trip. On a quality with DK doughnuts in Santa Monica where they overlap at half the price.
