Turtle Creek Parkway Park — Attraction in Dallas

So, this is an interesting feature to have running through the heart of a major metropolitan area. And it goes like this: Right in the heart of Dallas, snaking it's way behind the glass and steel luxury apartments and in-between the high end bistro's and classy bars is Turtle Creek. As in an actual Creek, with water in it. And what's more it's in a (mostly) undisturbed corridor of natural park land that's has been updated with well maintained AND well lit walking paths and natural areas by the creek itself. Now, while it was well marked and there were quite a few people still roaming about at dusk, when we visited, I'm not sure id recommend a midnight stroll through the area,. The whole thing is pretty secluded by from the city around it, and it would be pretty easy to get disoriented in there, in the dark, so please, use...

This could be a lively trail system if you didn't run into someone sleeping on under the bridge every 5 minutes. Mind you no one bothered us. There was never any solicitation, but this is the trail and park of another era. It didn't become what it was intended to be.

The project team thought they had it figured out but they slacked off on a few feet here and there, where the trail just dissapears. Was it too expensive to add a few more feet of concrete?

The creek system is a trash dam, where the city's finest toss their "not mine" belongings...

This is one of Dallas's hidden gems. Do ur self a favor and check this place out. The trails are beautiful and well keeped. I Invision this is what new Yorks central Park must look like.
