Allan Shivers Park — Attraction in Dallas

Well I understand and I thank God there institutions as the Texas Scottish Rite hospital for children, the principal and most important objective is to help, heal and care for all children that need help, only today they disappointed me a lot, and they made me and my family a very sad moment, I understand that they did it for the good of my family, but the end was bad.

The hospital lent me the Park "Allan shiver" to the party of 4 years of my son Chase, I was organizing with my wife for more than 2 months in advance, and today Sunday August 12, one hour before the party began, they called me to tell me that the party was canceled because they were going to close the park due to weather issues, as heavy rain was coming, my efforts and my clemency did not help, they just told me they were sorry but that I made my party somewhere else, with an hour before the guests will arrive. With my sadness and courage we had to cancel Chase's party, we had to call and cancel all of his friends from his school, since there were many families that were going to come, all the food that we prepared we are going to have to donate today and the rest to throw. In short all my money, work and effort were destroyed and spent without any purpose...... never rain...All this can be recovered, but the sadness I saw in my son's eyes hasn't name. It's 8 pm and it's not raining anything....

This is an incredible park! It is very accessible for children with disabilities. I see kids with various mobility issues playing here all the time. It is safe and always clean. They have restrooms and water fountains (tip: you have to hold the button for a few seconds before the water starts to flow). There is a lot for toddlers and big kids. I like the musical instruments -- always a hit! I'm also grateful for the trees and the fountain that give the more adult park feeling. This is a great park...

We’ve been here with our daughter a few times, the park is real clean and well kept. Almost all the interactive activities work except for one electronic one which is a car steering wheel. They have other interactive activities which are very enjoyable like the xylophone and the light game next to it. They have 4 slides which have different heights which I find nice for different ages.
