Iām updating my review below because most of my issues have been addressed. While there are still no amenities aside from the community room, my experience here has gotten better. The maintenance crew came and fixed everything and continue to be friendly. Iāve also noticed that once a month or so they have a cleaning crew come in and spiffy up any common areas so that is appreciated.
I was also contacted about my dog and they said that they would credit my account but I havenāt seen the amount come off. (Could be an oversight but I havenāt seen it.) Parking still sucks sometimes but thereās not really anything they can do about that. On another positive note, missing packages hasnāt been a problem in some time!
Iām giving them an extra star for addressing my concerns. Hereās to hoping the move out process is seamless! Iām sure it will be as our new management has been friendly so far and keeps us in the know. āāāāā- When I moved here I was super excited. Itās a brand new building, which I like, and the lady who helped me tour was incredibly friendly and thorough. Any issues I had would be addressed promptly by the friendly maintenance staff. Aside from the apartments having no amenities aside from a lounge, I had no complaints. However, after they opened their second building things started going downhill.
While the maintenance team is still incredibly friendly and addresses concerns properly, Iāve found that there have been a few things they missed the mark on. I had someone come change the light bulbs in my bathroom and they left me with mismatched ones - one yellow and one white. I also have had issues with my āsmart doorā, but all that has happened both times men came to address it was a battery change. Mind you anyone can hear the loud noise it makes from being messed up.
The biggest issue has been that the office doesnāt return my phone calls or emails. My dog is no longer with me and I called to tell them that so she could be taken off my lease. They said okay but 4 months later I realized Iām still paying for her. I called again and left a message with some lady, even emailed and no one ever got back with me.
In the same email I asked what they were doing about the parking in my building as if you show up after 7pm youāll be forced to park on the street because there are no secure spots left.
Lastly, while itās not the apertments fault, itās important to note that someone was shot and killed on our street a couple weeks ago and often you will hear gunshots on our block. Plus packages are stolen from inside every once in a while.
Iām actually pretty shocked by the lack of communication because things were so good in the beginning. Because of that I will likely not renew. But hopefully things get better because Iāve referred quite a few friends to live here as well who are also...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT SIGN HERE if youāre more than one person looking for a place in this area, save yourself the headache.
I work very late on weekends and come home to this every single time. They have this asinine ā1 vehicle per unitā rule that they DID NOT TELL US ABOUT UNTIL WEāD ALREADY MOVED IN! They had multiple chances to tell us about this, and they didnāt. The excuse was āI didnāt know it was going to be more than one person living hereāā¦Iāve just dealt with it up until now, but Iāve had ENOUGH! We both filled and sent in the applications. The application asked about BOTH of our vehicles. They couldāve said something then. Thereās is NO MENTION in the lease we signed. It does mention you receive a garage access card PER PERSON but the parking sticker that is not mentioned in the lease is supposedly one per unit. Why do we need two garage passes if we only get 1 sticker? And why are the 2 access passes in writing but the sticker that controls if you get towed or not is not in any writing? Had we known about this, we wouldāve never signed here. This is a HIGHLY popular bar/club area and people who donāt live here come in and take up all the street spots, leaving people who live here without space to park. If you park in the garage they threaten to tow you because itās āone parking pass per unitā. We shouldnāt have to compete with non-residents for āguestā parking spaces that arenāt labeled as guest spaces but we are expected to be able to use as an excuse for not providing garage space, especially when thereās so many spots open in the garage. (See pictures below taken...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo not bother to pay for a reserved parking as my car was getting towed on New Year's Eve because my reserved tag had fallen from my rear view mirror due to tag opening not fitting correctly and Thank GOD I woke up and saw the tow truck and now the office is blaming me for the incident even though a list is send to the towing company ! For such a small complex there are several non functioning things such as the gate not opening every time it simply rains to door in garage leading to stairs not working to call box not working ! Management wants to manage from behind the desk ! There are no amenities such as a pool or game area or sitting area or dog park to maintain ..AT LEAST MAINTAIN THE LITTLE THINGS THAT ARE BIG TO TENANTS š”again another let down , my cable was disconnected due to the leading office verifying to att i no longer live there as another tenant was moving in and gave wrong apt number and att tried calling me but obviously don't pick up 800 #s and the called leasing office and they gave told art I no longer was living there and yep it got disconnected and like always management never takes responsibility for their mistakes as att verified they called the leasing office to confirm and now have new account new charges .. this place really managed by liars and laziness and...
