Got there 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM appointment. By the time we left it’s 12:30 PM. Multiple people there with young children to get passport with no support system for mothers. They wouldn’t open a lactation room on first floor while waiting because there was one on the sixth floor. The lines are so long you wait on the first floor in a random hallway till you can go upstairs. Security guy gave no update on how it works other than wait in the line. People just had to figure it out on their own. Once upstairs people were waiting on another line which took another hour. People were calling their jobs/FaceTiming others and security guy yelling out No recording or video (not sure what law that is…it’s a public place and guy had headphones on while FaceTiming). What a mess of a place. Let’s keep raising these taxes and fees but no expectation of a decent service from the government. Once we did get to the window it was only a 10 minute process and the lady was nice. Please be warned and bring snacks or take additional time off your jobs to prepare for the mess.

Superb facility, very well organized, everyone was super nice and friendly, got done with my appointment in less than 7mins! Got the passport same day. You need to make appointment online, meet the criteria for renewal and show up with the proper documentation as outlined very clearly on the website. Arrive on time or early and you will be well taken care off. There is a greeter who confirms your appointment and then the security guard will direct you where to sit. There is an expediter who then reviews your paperwork, confirms your travel date and then assigns a date for picking passport. I was traveling the same day, so I got passport the same day. At 8:30am on a Monday, there were zero lines and around 20-30 people in the neat clean waiting area. I was called to a window, paid the fee and got a time to come back and pick up my passport and card. There is ample paid parking around, including 2 garages next door. There is a cafeteria on the 6th floor with good coffee and breakfast tacos. So glad we have this service in Dallas for emergency passports.

Got my passport here SUPER last minute for a trip and was glad it was easier than expected. PLEASE read and make sure you bring the accurate & original documents needed, and you’ll be in & out. I accidentally brought a COPY of my birth certificate (was rushing and didn’t even notice) and the agent guided me to the Dallas Library to grab an original and be able to request my passport (depending on which hospital you were born in, you may need to go somewhere different). Came on a Wednesday and picked them up Friday! You do have to bring proof of travel in order to rush. I brought my plane ticket receipts.

I cannot begin to say what my eyes have seen from this passport agency since October 2022. This office misplaced my naturalization certificate and issued me a one year passport due to that last year…my son was kidnapped last year in Nigeria and I became financially depleted after paying the ransom so I told them I couldn’t buy the naturalization certificate like they’d suggested since I’m basically poor now and my savings gone. I told them to write a check to USCIS for transparency to help me buy a new one and we kept going back and forth on this for MONTHS.They refused

My son’s visa got approved recently AFTER FIVE YEARS of waiting and I needed to renew my passport to fly to Nigeria to take my son for his interview( at least 6 months validity is needed to not have issues coming back to the U.S.).

Not only did a black lady over there look me in the eye to tell me there’s nothing they can do even after proving with documents that I’m in the right, she said it was not their office who misplaced my certificate AND wanted to still hold on to the one year passport that I have. I kept on asking how she expects me to fly to Nigeria and she keeps saying “we sent a notice so you’re aware you need to buy a new certificate” and I kept on telling her about my financial status and how I spoke to several agents to the point of them even calling me.

She lacks empathy! If not for the other lady in window 6, who says I could get the one year back so I have something to at least fly with, MY FIVE YEARS waiting to go get my son would have been wasted! The black lady says “well keep your application for 90 days” knowing fully well that to buy a new naturalization certificate takes 6 months! How can you tell me to go get a certified copy if you lot have lost the original one??? My God!

I still do not have my naturalization certificate that I had turned in to them with a passport application since 2022, I didn’t get a new passport, and surely didn’t get the $60 I paid for expedite back. I was there before 9:30AM today 06/18/2024 and left with nothing at 2:54PM. I’m just in my car crying my eyes out asking where I went wrong. I leave for Nigeria in two days and don’t know how I’d return with a passport that expires Aug 30 of this year.

Please use a different agency if possible and whatever you do, DO NOT MAIL YOUR ORIGINAL NATURALIZATION CERT, they will lose it and blame it on you that you were the one who lost your own naturalization certificate; even if you have proof from their office apologizing, they’d say it just a courtesy and not their fault!

I am just super heartbroken by the nonchalant response I got from this location for losing my Nat cert- something that...

UPDATE I cancelled our trip, lost a lot of money :( and to make matters worse - I received emails the day after our flight was scheduled for departure that our passports had been processed and mailed out to us! Call me crazy, but I would have rather they take another 5 weeks at this point instead of rubbing dirt in my open wound and having our passports in our hands 2 days after our original departure date! Had someone COMMUNICATED this to me then I could have made the proper arrangements and changed dates, BUT of course that is TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR! If you are still reading, this is where it gets interesting and hopefully helpful! I submitted a refund request form for each of us (online) for our expedited fees, since they did NOT fulfill our applications within the 7-9 weeks as stated, the day I was supposed to leave on my trip. YES! The day after they suddenly had the time of day to look at our applications. Coincidence? I think NOT! I am 10000% sure that this is what triggered our applications to be processed. My proof is that my nephew also completed the refund request form, and his passport was also processed the very next day and received it the same day I did. I recommend you to utilize this tool if you paid for the expedited fees and it has been more than 9 weeks, hopefully it helps you! I know one thing for sure, they better refund my money asap because they still did not meet the 7-9 weeks as stated! Good Luck! Applied in April and our applications were sent to this location, stuck in processing for 10 weeks despite paying expedited fees for my family of 4. I live in California not sure why they send applications to a different state that we don't have easy access to. I see many reviews of people walking in and out same day with their passports which is great for them but perhaps that creates an even bigger slow down for the rest of us who sent it weeks ago and paid the fees. Our flight is in 3 days and no passports, horrible service!! They need to automatically refund the expedited fees if they're unable to process the application within the 7-9 weeks as stated on the website! Change the system! send applications locally and then to the National Passport Agency rather than different states. A relative received his within 6 weeks from the National Passport Agency!! Create video appointments for those who live outside the state and whose applications are stuck in your facility! Then overnight the passports in the mail! So many possible solutions but our inept Government loves to twiddle their damn thumbs at our expense, mentally and...

NEGATIVE 0 (ZERO) stars. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Due to the great reviews I saw a couple of weeks ago My Disabled Veteran spouse and I drove at 4am in the morning to get my replacement passport that has been sitting at this location since 5/2 (Expedited fees paid & Priority Mail paid). When they opened, a guy came out and Immediately said for those that do not have an appointment we are no longer taking walk ins and only seeing appointments and walked away (with a security guy behind him). I was literally in shock. I’ve been calling for weeks and hung up on and told the system was down and told I needed someone to be in ICU or Dead. This location is extremely unprofessional. I was actually told by the security there to LIE and get a Dr to write a note saying someone was dying or dead (In Mexico sir). He said to me, “That’s what other people are doing to get an appointment “. So basically because I went to the post office paid extra and had time……..I’m being Penalized. A handful of us waited it out All day hoping they would help us. They looked at the few of us that were left at 11:30 and walked away. They Never took anyone else after that. People came at 1:30 to pick theirs up and they still would not see us and they were finished long before 3pm. I don’t think there is truly a processing issue it that they have stopped helping the walk ins. A lady told my husband it was because someone posted on Facebook that they were taking walk ins so they stopped the Monday before I walked in that Thursday. It’s the employees who are pitiful and don’t care about helping anyone. Needless to say, my flight had to be cancelled on July 3, my disabled husband had to go alone because we prepaid for an Airbnb for the month of July. Today is Friday July 7th (PAST my expedited date) and here I sit looking at a “in process” status everyday hoping for my passport to ship priority. With all the ones I see that have not arrived from April, I’m in hopes I get to join my husband at some point. He literally has been struggling due to I am his primary caregiver. This is not right that they can Continue to take everyone’s money and provide Nothing for months. ZERO ZERO Negative ZERO You are literally penalizing people that followed the process and forcing some people to be desperate enough to lie regarding a Federal Document. Shame on this location and the...
