The Spun Cow Creamery — Restaurant in Dallas

I initially left a poor review because I was told the shop was closed during open hours, but management quickly corrected the issue over email so, as promised, an honest review:

Service today was great considering how busy it was (Good Friday early afternoon).

A friend and I tried Banana Pudding and Pistachio. Both great flavors; creamy and delicious. The piece of waffle cone added onto the cup is a nice touch. Btw, the cones are made in house so it smells amazing if you walk in at the right time.

Is this the BEST ice cream ever? No, but it's VERY good. Best in the downtown Dallas area? Very likely. I'll be back next time...

The wife and I went in to order a Rootbeer float and a Butter beer float. After paying $20 and leaving a $5 tip the guy says “excuse me sir, we are out of vanilla. Can you pick a different flavor? I mean I could go to the back and get more it’s just a lot of work”

??? What? No I don’t want (insert any flavor other than vanilla) in my rootbeer. And what do you mean it’s to much work…? Don’t you literally get paid to do that?

Then the lady offered a soft serve which I appreciate her stepping in and offering a solution. I came across town for the ice cream not the grainy soft serve.

This ice cream shop was such a great find Cloey, with her curly pink hair😊 I freaking love her she was super kind and welcoming. She explained the flavors really well and suggested a combo that turned out amazing and for me a person that likes weird combinations it came out so good 🙂‍↕️. The ice cream was fresh, creamy, and full of flavor😋 and those milkshakes and please don’t let me talk about the root beer 💕🫦she’s definitely the milkshake master.
