Feeling very frustrated with my service and will not be returning. I scheduled a same day, relatively last minute appointment with Kelli online for 3:15. I later called to confirm since the appointment was only about 2 hours out, and she told me to come in 30 min later at 3:45, which again I knew I booked last minute so I didn’t mind. I got there 10 minutes before my appointment time, only to wait almost an hour before finally sitting in a chair at 4:30. I wasnt too upset at this point because I understand things happen and Kelli was talking about having tire troubles. I reminded her I wanted a cut and wash (I had pretty long hair and was getting about 12 inches off) so she did a super quick rough chop and then we went to wash my hair. About 10 minutes later in the middle of washing my hair, her 4:45 appointment walks in, and Kelli proceeds to wash, blow dry, style and complete this entire appointment while leaving my head in the bowl, sopping wet and very uncomfortable. She didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me she was serving someone else in the middle of washing my hair until I asked. Had she not rough chopped my hair prior to sending me to sit for an hour, I absolutely would have walked out. Finally, 2 hours after my initial appointment at 5:45, she started tending to me. Kelli is perfectly talented and I ended up loving my hair cut, but the experience was very unprofessional, inconsiderate of my time, and overall frustrating. To top it off, the price for a cut and wash was $80 online and that is what was said when I booked, and even after waiting over 2 hours to finally get service, my ticket ended up being $128 dollars because I had “long hair” which doesn’t make sense to me because it took about 5 seconds to put in a pony and cut off the 12 inches and an almost $50 up charge for long hair seems outrageous, but that’s even...

I’ve come to Gad Macias to get my hair cut and colored over the past year and I have not regret a single appointment. If you’re like me and have fried your hair trying to bleach it on your own in the past, but don’t want to give up avante garde hair colors, Gad is the perfect hairstylist. He is very communicative and skilled. I always request that my roots don’t get bleached to avoid pain and to have a better blend between the hair color and my natural hair as my hair grows out, which Gad was able to do without any problem.

This past appointment, he was able to take my hair from a vivid intense blue to bright pinks and oranges while maintaining the quality of my hair. He won’t rush and damage your hair while removing color or applying bleach. He takes his time with each process to ensure that everything will come out perfect the first time.

For the color I wanted, I brought in a color scheme of the pink, orange, and some blue that I wanted for my hair. Gad was skilled enough to translate it to an absolutely stunning hair style. He also gave me an awesome hair cut that shaped my hair and cleaned up my ends while still maintaining the length.

First off this place is permanently closed! My appointment for hair coloring was supposed to be at 1 pm then Kelly the owner was "running late" so it got postponed until 3 pm. Then I came back then she called and said 3:30 pm because of her relocating her home. Waited until 3:45 pm then went home! She then called me while I was at home then told invited me back. When I came back she was performing a manicure and with 3 other clients! I had an appointment and then when she had finally got around to me it took 5 hours for my hair to turn from black to red... I'm no stylist however, I know it does not take virgin hair to be bleached and processed for 5 hours! When it was done my hair was all damaged! The small claims awarded me x amount for this chicanery of a salon. STAY AWAY if you value your time and bag!
