The Gallery Lounge — Restaurant in Dallas

Was there for the first time this weekend to celebrate my best friends birthday, upon arrival we stepped into the beautiful lobby of the NYLO hotel. Soda Bar is located on the 6th floor with the elevators to the right not far after entering the building. We were greeted by THE BEST security lady who helped us get a table right away. For a Saturday night the crowd was heavy but the place is spacious so it didn't feel crowded at all. One thing that I noticed that I really liked was the (I'm assuming) manager who was going around asking everyone if they were doing ok or if they needed anything. The views are spectacular and was overall a great place to hang out with a group of friends and drink and dance. My only issue was at the end of the night when we were charged for 3 drinks we didn't order but that was quickly fixed by the same attentive manager. Will definitely be...

Nice rooftop for happy hour or late night hangout,one of the best view of downtown dallas. That being said and this is just my own opinion and experience,customer service was the terrible,we came on a friday afternoon and went to seat outside by the pool,nobody came to ask what we wanted for 30 min,we had to go to the bar and ask for someone. We decided to seat at the bar since it was getting too hot outside.Once at the bar six people were behind it and after 10 min one person came.The place was not busy around six pm,when we finished our first round the bartenders acted as if we were not there,they choosed to serve other customers. Went here to have a beer and see the veiw, security person at the door wanted 20 dollars to enter the "pool party" which means nothing more than the fact that they want to up charge customers because its a holiday. There is nothing different about the place besides they hired a security person and a crappy dj and they need to recoup thos costs which they seem to think will make them more money. There were people infront of me that also left. I cant imagine the amount of money they turned away by having a bogus entry fee for the "pool party" which by the way they always have a pool.
