I’ve lived on and off in the Dallas area for about sixteen years. In 2008, during the birthday of my son, Gabriel, the shopping experience here was great. As good as shopping at Urban market gets.
It wasn’t until earlier this year that I realized how negative/draining the shopping experience here is. Everything small/big and worth something is locked up. Which wouldn’t be an issue if they had enough products out to available staff. Either wait 15-20 mins for smth or don’t get it. I was legit told they ran out of Cheerios because the manager told us it was enough.
Grocery shopping at the urban market down the street makes more sense. If you’re buying over 20 items you’re ‘technically’ not allowed to self checkout. However, I’ve never seen more than 5 cashiers working at time. Lines always wrap into the clothing areas with customers that have their carts filled the the brim.
