Oak Cliff Mirror & Glass Company — Local services in Dallas

I contracted Oak Cliff Mirror and Glass to install a shower door.

They were not the cheapest quote, but their reputation of quality work was the deciding factor for me.

I went to their office with my measurements and was provided a preliminary estimate. The next day their staff came and measured and provided a quote.

Two weeks later, they came to install the shower door. The door itself was slightly bigger (1/4 of an inch) than the measurements, but still fit.

The gentleman in charge of installation explained to me his concern with it being slightly bigger, and gave me an option to install as is or for them to have the glass re-cut. I chose the latter.

This actually really impressed me as he could have just installed it and I would’ve never been the wiser about it's size. I am thankful he didn't.

I did have to wait another week for the glass to be re-cut but I’d rather have things done right instead of fast.

I would also like to address the other comments I saw about Marilyn. As for me, I interacted with her four or five times during the whole process and she was perfectly pleasant and very knowledgeable.

Worst experience we ever had. First time they delivered our table top glass, it was cracked before it arrived at our doorstep. They then said "well it's not a big deal" and "it's for a window anyway". No, it's not for a window. It's for a tabletop, like we originally asked. Sent it back. Then they arrived with the next glass. For our conference room table. 2 hours after having it, it cracked. They did not offer to refund or even offer an explanation. We had to buy another piece. We got another piece a week later, and it broke a day later. We finally asked if they were tempered, because it should be for table top and they said no it wasn't tempered because it's not much stronger.

Really?! Who makes table top glass, that has a lot of human interaction and lots of objects on it all day long NOT tempered?! Worst customer service, and refuses to help us out or compromise on...

Terrible customer service received from one of the male employees. When I originally ordered the glass I informed them that I could pick up my glass after hours. This company closes early during the eeek and does not offer direct delivery to the client. I received nothing short of patronizing comments from the person who I spoke with over the phone. He offered no solutions and had absolutely no care for me as a customer. I absolutely will never order from this company again. Also, I believe many of the reviews are fake. I remember seeing poor reviews when I first looked them months ago which I should have paid more...
