I think the store is great! But I am giving it 3 stars due to the customer service I’ve received on a couple of occasions. I should have gotten the name of the representative I spoke with. It’s the same lady every time. She is typically the person who greets people when they walk in. I have not seen her behind the counter checking out customers. But the vibe I’ve gotten from her was obnoxious on both occasions. On the first visit, I asked her a question about the type of sage displayed in the store. This store has a great variety of sage which is one of the things I love. I asked her a question about one in particular and she stated “I don’t know; I’m not a sage specialist”...my mom and I both thought that response was very rude. She walked off after that response. I didn’t expect her to be a sage specialist, I mean who really is! But I did expect her to know a little more about a product that’s sold in the store. If she didn’t know, she could have just responded with something different. On another occasion, my dad and I walked into the store and looked at the rocks/stones on display in the front. We were holding a conversation and My dad, who’s never been to the store before, asked if the rocks were soap. This representative overheard him and proceeded to say, “No, rocks don’t smell” very sarcastically.. and walked away. Another rude occurrence. Not sure if this review helps much, not knowing this lady’s name, but it was very concerning to me, so I thought I should write one, as I am in the customer service business myself. Read moreI ordered a face mask in mid July 2020 as a birthday present for my friend. The package could not be delivered as it was sent to the wrong address and was returned to he Harkensback Store. This co removed their Phone number from their website and asked all customers to communicate with them via a Facebook message with which I complied. I have sent them a Facebook message every day since the package was not delivered and I have not received one response. However, they did not forget to withdraw money for the mask from my credit card. I have contacted my credit card co so that they could follow up on this breech if conduct. I really do not know what else To do and needless to say , I am extremely disappointed and will not buy anything more from this retailer. I am writing this to warn others . Thank you

The owners responded and indicated that the mask would be resent if I completed the required form, which I did. Now I just need to hear from them regarding when and if it definitely will be sent .

I purchased what looked like a beautiful Dopp kit for my husband. When I purchased it, I was never told about a return policy OR given a receipt (apparently the policy is posted in a 5x7 on the far left side of the glass where you check out). My husband attempted to return it and he was told absolutely not, even though he was showing evidence as to why it was not functioning properly. He demanded to speak to the owner and was upset about the rigid policy, was promised a prompt phone call, and by 5pm the next day he still did not have one. We returned yet again to ask for a refund, and the store owner told us “I was going to give him one, but the way he spoke to my employee changed my mind.” Please don’t fall into the same trap that we did here.
