A beautiful story: Six of us were visiting from the cornfields of Ohio. A friendly and social crowd sort of out of place in the city. We visited for the national strongman competition. Our family member placed 4th. We really wanted the experience of Texas steaks. Eric our waiter, explained all of the dishes we were interested in and gave very informitive recommendations. As a group of beer and wine connoisseurs , we were excited by the amount of beverage options. Their steaks did not disappoint, large enough to share between two adults. We all shared 3 separate helpings. Throughout our meal at least 6 waiters and waitresses stopped by to quietly refill our drinks and strike up chit chat about our vacation and Ohio life. We came rather underdressed for the crowd and received no side eye from a single staff member. They seemed curious about us, all sneaking over to chat. They were all welcoming and spoke so highly of the restaurant, it's owner, and they pride they have working there. They collectively demonstrated some of the best teamwork we've ever seen from a restaurant setting. After chit chat with the staff and clearing our plates, Eric sneakily dropped off small plates with spoons to each of us. We were expecting some top level dessert salesmanship from him. Instead, 4 waiters/ waitresses came to our table each carrying a dessert. They thanked us for our friendliness and congradulated our Strongman. This was one of the most generous acts in our simple lives. Each dish was light and incredible. The best I've ever had. All explained by Eric before digging in. We tipped with everything we had, even my souvenir money. True western hospitality waits to be experienced here. Make connections, be kind, and give more...

Neighborhood Services exceeded all expectations, delivering a memorable dining experience. The restaurant’s inviting ambiance set the stage for a delightful evening. Whether you’re seeking a cozy dinner or an upscale night out, this place caters to all.

The service was top-notch, with a friendly and attentive staff that made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.

Now, let’s talk about the star of the show – the food. The crab dip was a sensational start to our meal. Its rich and flavorful taste, paired with a lovely presentation, left us wanting more.

The lobster special was truly special indeed. Each bite was a burst of seafood perfection, and the portion size was generous, making it a must-try.

The mac and cheese and fries were equally impressive. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, and the fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. These classic dishes were elevated to a whole new level here.

One standout feature of Neighborhood Services is its reasonable pricing. For the quality of food and service offered, it’s a great value for those seeking an enjoyable meal without breaking the bank.

And last but not least, the bourbon drinks were a highlight. They complemented the meal beautifully.

In conclusion, Neighborhood Services comes highly recommended. It’s a fantastic choice for a memorable dining experience with delicious food, attentive service, and reasonable prices. Don’t miss the opportunity to indulge in their bourbon drinks as well. This restaurant truly knows how to...

First time to this new restaurant location; was part of a group of 6 that dined here on a Thursday evening. Made reservations for 7PM via Open Table. Great experience overall!

There was plenty of parking, (they have valet too). The server was super accommodating and attentive throughout the meal, but not overly hovering. So we had a great social experience visiting with everyone in our group.

The restaurant is large and a very open space, so it can get loud, but overall the vibe is great and clientele varied from groups to families to date night to some seated at the bar. We sat at the far back. The drinks and food were delicious! We had (pictured): peach-burrata salad (so good! It was a special, so they rotate items), chicken tortilla soup, meatloaf (that was outstanding! and huge portion—the sauce is amazing!), members only sandwich and fish & chips.

Would highly recommend this place. Seems good for brunch, dinner and large parties, as well as special occasions. I’m sure it’s super packed on weekends. Did not get to check out the patio due to weather, but next time!

Those of us long term Oak Lawn-ers will remember this space as the old Souper Salad! 😁...
