The Container Store — Local services in Dallas

I affectionately call this store “The Void”. Because when you enter time & your bank account cease to exist. They have everything you could possibly need to organize any space. 4 stars instead of 5 because I often compare the prices to stuff on Amazon and some stuff just isn’t worth the mark up, especially when it comes to kitchen gadgets & food pantry organizers. There are organization bins in the kitchen section (front right of the store) that are literally 3x the price of extremely similar bins with more size selections located in the garage and office section (far back left hand side) of the store. I used white bins from that back section of the store in my grandmothers pantry instead of the kitchen section and they work just as well and dare I say look even better (check out photos to see for yourself). Great price, awesome quality, and easy self installation on the roll out cabinet drawers. Over all my grandmother was very pleased with what I was able to do for her with stuff from The Container Store.

There was signage for the Elfa solution with basket and rails for $40 & $35. We asked Rachel for clarification before purchasing and she explained that it only applies to the particular solution advertised. Rachel told us if at the register it rang up differently, just talk to the cashier and they'll be able to honor it as advertised. We said thank you, walked about the store for another 20-25mins and head to check out. At the register it rang up differently and Rachel was actually with the cashier and we explained what she had told us less than 30mins ago and Rachel remained confused. She had asked another associate to check and I said I'll help check also and have photos of the solution with the container store signage, Rachel followed me and continued to say that this was incorrect and yanked each container store display tag off the solution display. This is horrible as we had asked a store associate to clarify before purchasing and to have the same associate within the same hour tell us we were wrong and that the signage was incorrect. It's hard to contain myself at The Container Store. I love to go into the store and walk the aisles looking for new ways to organize my life and options for my clients. Whenever I need some new organizational method for one of my clients I browse online first and then go to The Container Store. They offer a points program that tracks your purchases and makes returns easy and also earns you points towards your next purchases. Unfortunately, they seem to be consistently short on stock. Several times in the last year I went in to pick up things for an organizational job only to find out that they didn't have them or only had a few when I needed more. It's inconvenient to have to go to two stores to get what you need. One of my favorite things about the store is the two kiosk areas in the middle that get loaded up with wonderful stocking stuffers for Christmas.
