I have been to all three of the locations in northpark at least 3-4 separate times. Each seemingly getting worse. The first incident began at the main store for purses, my wife wanted a specific purse so we tried for at least 15 minutes to get someone to help us. Even though the store was fairly empty and most of the employees were just standing around talking or looking at their ipads. Well the woman that we first talked to pointed us to a different employee who when we asked just causally said out of stock, so we ask ok is there any other location that would have one, and she looks it up and says oh we actually have 5 in back here, well instead of going to get the purse my wife wanted she proceeds to show her a much smaller and uglier purse. My wife responded that she didn’t care for it much, so instead of going to get the purse she asked for she keeps trying to sell her this purse thats in front of her. So after spending probably around 20 minutes talking we ended up leaving without her ever bringing us the purse that we came in to look at. The second incident was from the mens store during this time I was looking to purchase a wallet and a belt. As I live 45 min to an hour from this store I called the LV help line to make sure they had the style of belt I wanted in stock, I was told they in fact did. So I drive there and walk in and the first impression of walking into the mans store is that you are unwelcome, none of the employees here greet you or ask if you need help, they kind of just look at you and walk off. So finally I approach one of the salesmen and ask if they have the belt Im looking for and he respond no we haven’t even gotten a shipment of them yet we are all out of stock, with out even looking. The third incident comes again trying to buy a belt and wallet I first went to the neimen marcus location and asked about the belt I wanted, the salesperson here was very helpful and just didn’t have my size. But she said she checked and the mens store location did in-fact have it, so again I walk to the mens store and immediately feel unwelcomed as no one attempts to say hello or ask if I need help but there is a cluster of 3 of them standing talking. So I go up to the group and ask for the model and size belt I need, to which he responds let me check looks at his ipad for no longer than 20 seconds and says nope we don't have that one and than disappears with out saying did you want to order it or anything. Northparks LV locations are by far the worst I have ever experienced and have made me never want to purchase anything...
Read moreDefinitely my worst experience at LV and I am a loyal customer who has shopped at many stores worldwide. As I am spending the next few months in Dallas, I tried to establish a relationship with a sale associate, they don’t seem interested. First visit, I purchased a bag and ordered a strap for the bag. I was told when the strap arrived I could skip the line (covid wait line) and just let an associate know and they could grab the item so I could be on my way. When I returned the get the strap, the sales associate was rude and told me to wait in line just to pick up an item that has been paid for. I was in a rush, left and returned the next day. The next day, no one could find my strap, telling me it hasn’t arrived. After pulling up the texts and emails confirming it has arrived in store, I was waiting around 30 minutes while associates came in and out of the back of the store, sometimes leaving to chat to other customers until someone “found my strap” I suspect it was just a strap they removed from another bag as they handed it to me loose - no dust bag or box or even shopping bag. I was so frustrated from waiting around during this time I just took it and left. I returned a few days later to order some gifts and was told they’d arrive 2-5 days. After 7 days and not being contacted I returned to the store and see if my items had arrived. I was again told to go wait in the line. I was then greeted by a very rude associate, one item had arrived and she just tossed it in a bag, no box, no gift wrap, no ribbon, she then told me their wasn’t any other items on my profile. I had said I ordered something else and proceeded to point to the sales associate who ordered me the item. She then said, maybe it doesn’t show up because you haven’t paid for it yet. I proceeded to explain to her I had paid for the item. I asked if she could double check and confirm the order is in process, she refused and dismissed me. I’ll have to go in a few days when the manager is working and hopefully my item appears. Extremely unprofessional, rude and rushy sales associate. I had intended to buy a few more gift items but will definitely purchase the rest of my wish list elsewhere! I will note the services seems to have gone downhill since covid, I had shopped at this store previously and had great experiences but the last few times it’s been awful and based on the interactions I’ve seen with other customers I don’t feel these are...
Read moreUPDATE: So many friends suggested I contact their corporate office. They did nothing. Calling them was an absolute JOKE! The gentleman tried to tell me he would have someone contact me then rushed me off the phone. I asked him how they would contact me since he hadn't even asked for any of my information. He giggled and asked for the information. It's 5 months later and nada. So I GIGGLED today as I walked past their location and into Saint Laurent and bought three more bags. Maybe LV can send their employees over to YSL to get proper Customer Service training!!!
Went in today with my Husband and 12 y/o daughter today.
Today is my birthday and Hubby was planning to buy an LV bag as one of my gifts. After waiting in line at the North Park location we were assigned Eric. I wasn't sure what I wanted but took a quick look around the store and then asked that he suggest some items based on what I was hoping for.
Eric brought three bags to a clothing table in the back of the store in the men's section (???) for me to take a look over. I told Eric which one I preferred and then asked if he could suggest a couple more with the print I liked. He walked away and didn't realize my family and I followed him. As he pulled down a bag from the shelf he said to one of his co-workers with a boisterous laugh, "She said she liked that one with the print! (Laugh laugh). I told her "no monogram". (Laugh laugh). She's not buying anything (laugh laugh). I'll be showing her bags all day (laugh laugh).
He turns around, sees us standing there, and turns red as a beet. I said, "No you won't" and exited the store completely embarrassed. Maybe I did not look the part according to Eric's high standards and obvious ability to detect a serious buyer . Maybe I didn't choose words which best matched Erics vernacular prowess however what he said in front of family is BEYOND unprofessional. He ruined a great experience not only for me but more importantly my daughter. I was actually planning to surprise her with a smaller bag for herself. Instead I was left having to explain Erics expansive intellect to my daughter and why it's important that she never treat anyone in that way in any of her stores...yes... she's 12 and owns three bakeries in the DFW area.
Shame on you Eric!
We regrouped and went to YSL. We're...
