I hate to rag on this store, but after moving to the area and shopping at this particular Tom Thumb for several months, my experiences leave much to be desired. At pretty much all hours, the wait to check out is lengthy, and many of the cashiers lack any type of personality or enthusiasm towards serving their customers. Prices are insanely high (as per the norm with Tom Thumb), and I have been charged an incorrect amount for purchased products on multiple occasions. In addition, I have also seen refrigerated products placed on an open clearance shelf near the stockroom doors, without any regard to food safety.
I primarily shop at Kroger and Central Market, but this store is conveniently located for quick "milk and eggs" runs. However, this convenience factor quickly goes out the window when I can't rely on the ability to get in and out of this store with little hassle.
October 2017 Update: Service has noticeably improved at this location over the last month or so. Although prices are still sky high, selection is somewhat limited and the store is physically falling apart, at least you can now usually get checked out in a reasonable amount of time by overall friendly staff.
March 2018 Update: Store has improved substantially! Many new employees have been brought in who are personable, and management seems to be generally fixing the place up. Now the biggest hurdle is simply dealing with Tom Thumb's gimmicky pricing and poor...

Unsanitary...check out the mold in the dairy section...specifically by the buscuits...ricotta cheese and pickles...the mold growth is ridiculous...brought it to management's attention and nothing was done. Be careful to check the dates...lots of expired items or items about to expire...spoiled meat in the meat department. Looks can be deceiving...and this was once a premium store...not surprised that it no longer is. It's a revolving door for employees...some get less than 20 hrs a week and are expected to survive off of this. The store director Chasity uses scare tactics to intimidate employees. This store is not what you think it is. Be vigilant...be aware. To the CEO...owner...look deeper...not only at the well being of the store...but check on your employees. It all starts with the head...if the head is right...the body will follow...take care of your employees and your employees will take care of you...favoritism when it comes to hours worked...produce department racks up the most in overtime hours...how is it that managers are not even guaranteed 40 hrs a week....robbing Peter to pay Paul. You will get paid more at McDonalds and treated better than being employed by Tom Thumb/Albertsons. Read morePlease don't use them for online orders. No matter how much I communicate and put notes on my online orders they never read them and misplace my groceries at random buildings in my complex instead of the one I specifically give directions to. I've received broken eggs, missing items had the wrong car and driver deliver my order, had trouble communicating bc the associate couldn't speak any English or would bring children along and be preoccupied with them ( a mother with babies is one thing but a man with middle schoolers is another) And of course the driver delivering them to the wrong building and attempting to drive away when I asked if that order was mine and if they needed my help getting it to my building they obviously were out of it and did not want to help let alone get the order done right. I don't have the transportation to get myself to a car rn and thought since they provide online delivery that I could rely on Tom Thumb for great service and I was very disappointed to not just once or twice but multiple times have inconvenient, tiring and frustrating encounters.
