My goodness am I still full from eating there (it has been nearly 4 hours since I ate there and I am currently suffering in my car) Firstly, let’s start with the service. It was great, the workers genuinely cared about your experience and are nice all-around. Earlier, a waitress tipped creamer near me, but as if the creamer heard her worry, it danced around my feet and didn’t splash on me. Food: Holy hell is it hefty. But in a good way! I ordered a Croque Madame and the Chicken and Waffles while I was there. I’m not sure if life was on my side today but everything was incredibly well done. The bread of Croque Madame is hard to get it to a medium of both crunchy and soft, but here they nailed it perfectly. Not to mention the Jalapeño gravy sauce was to die for. Then, onto the Chicken and waffles. The chicken was fried perfectly I honestly melted away. Not only that, waffles were also great! Crunchy but not hard to the point where my braces would snap into a million pieces. Food overall is slightly pricy being at around $20 for a single dish. (There’s a salad available as well and they have a lot of variety in those if you’re looking for healthier options) My only critique about the place was that the music was a little tooooo loud. For a casual setting it’s pretty easy going, it’s just the volume of the music that decked the score a little. Ah and restrooms are pretty OK, not unsanitary at all, but the sink is kind of yellow around the faucet but idk maybe it gives the bathroom character. Overall atmosphere is great, tho of course not quiet at all. ——————————:_ Tl;dr: Great service, people are friendly, place is somewhat loud, food is on the pricier side a decently large dish for one being around $20, options are diverse, nearly had a stroke from how well the food was cooked, bathrooms are clean though I would not sit on the toilet. Bring a 5’4 individual I did not expect to indulge in this much food (I ate two orders large enough to feed a family of four) and those two combined is around $40. Come here instead of La Madeleine if you’re going to eat a Croque Madame.

Nope. Won't be going back to THIS location. Our monthly Cousin brunch didn't start off well here. Our table server was great, but the bartender and barback were not. We ordered the frozen lemonade drinks and one of my cousins saw him use his fingertips to close one end of the straws before turning over and closing his fingertip over the other end and place it in our drinks! And when we brought to our server's attention that we wanted new drinks made, the bartender tried to just pour the drinks into new glasses before she noticed I was watching her. She then tried to get another server to block my view before my other cousin went up there to watch her and saw her finish pouring them into new glasses. She then requested the manager and explained the situation. I was skeptical to eat at this point. I don't like returning food or complaining, but this guy had put his fingers all over the straws that we were going to be drinking from. Our table server made sure to bring us wrapped straws with our nee drinks, which should have been done from the start. This kind of ruined the experience for us, but we decided to stay because our server was actually great. I ordered the Bananas Foster waffle and couldn't finish it. It had too much whipped cream and bananas on top. Made the waffle cold. The caramel glaze also had bananas in it and wasn't warm at all. It was just too much, and I had to scrape it off, as you can see from the picture. The bacon was great though! Cooked to perfect crispness. *chef's kiss* The chicken sausage was good too. I've been to the Plano Breadwinners and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere there, but unfortunately, this location not so much.

This was a disappointment. I’ve heard about Breadwinners and that it is a good place for brunch. That may be true however, this location did not show that to me. Let’s start with the good. Price: Prices were very cheap. If low price is your main requirement in a brunch spot. This is your place. Service: Service was fine. Not great, not bad but fine. No one greeted me at the hostess stand so I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly. Food: A caveat. The thing I liked about the menu before visiting is that there was French toast. And not just fancy French toast, stuffed with cream cheese and other things, but also a more simple brioche French toast. The photos I saw showed strawberries included and nice looking plate. A thing to note is there will be no fruit garnishment but the bartender was kind enough to grab strawberries. Unfortunately the look of them weren’t nice. Now the French toast. It was just ok. I didn’t finish the two that I had and was happy I ordered a small. It honestly tasted like smushed bread with syrup on top. It just wasn’t normal French toast. Overall thoughts: Would I try another Bread winners possibly. I think I’d visit one for the drink specials, not so much the food. Would I visit this location, nope. It’s conveniently at the north park mall however, that’s likely why the taste is poor.

I’ve dined at this location for years and years, since they opened. It used to be my favorite spot to meet a friend for Breakfast, Brunch or lunch. Recently I brought 5 different friends on 5 different occasions and each time it was embarrassingly disappointing. I bragged how great the food was and each time they told me it was awful. This last time was really disappointing. On Friday, Dec 23rd at 2:00. The hostess was extremely nice, but everything else was so disappointing. Our female server ( talker with dark hair in a pony tail) disappeared the entire time after taking our order ( or was busy which is understandable, though it seemed like she wasn’t even on the floor ) and checked on us once for a refill when we pretty much finished our food. We had to ask the food runner for what I had asked the server for originally, with my order. He seemed bothered that I asked as well. I also had to get up and ask the bartender for an extra napkin. She wouldn’t even look in our direction when on the floor. We then had to wait what sensed like an eternity for our check so I had to get up again and ask someone behind the bar. The server still took her time bringing it, with zero sense of urgency even though it was obvious we had been finished with our meal and had been waiting for so long. The whole experience was disappointing from the stale breads and the runny, soggy Eggs Benedict with hardly any hollandaise sauce which is what makes Eggs Benedict flavorful. It seems like this location cares very little about decent customer service when it comes to the servers, not to mention that the food quality has gone downhill. I work with people all day and have to deliver amazing customer service, I expect just a tad back when I’m tired and just want to eat a decent meal. I shouldn’t feel uncomfortable asking for a napkin or anything else. I don’t think I’ll recommend this place anymore or bring friends to dine in. Decent customer service from servers & management in the dining area is highly lacking time...
