Had the worst retail experience I’ve ever had on Monday, September 24th. I come in to the store already knowing what I need- I’m getting joggers, a bra, and panties. I find a couple of joggers that I want to try on and I ask for a fitting room. Before I dive in, I want to clarify that it was around 5:00 PM and there were only two other customers in the store. Nobody greeted me.
Anyway, I go up to an employee and I ask for a fitting room. She looks me up and down and instead of doing it herself, she rolls her eyes and tells someone else to do it. I was wanting a bra measurement but the lady that opened the fitting room for me looked less than friendly. After I finished trying on the joggers, I went to go look at the bras. The store was a mess because the employees were in the middle of literally rearranging the entire store (at 5pm on a Monday) and were not even trying to help me. I had to go out of my way to find someone to ask the difference between a t-shirt bra and I lightly lined bra. She tells me that the lightly lined has more coverage and walks away. Okay.
I make my selections and make my way to the cash register when they tell me that they’re closed and that I need to go next door to Victoria’s Secret. I go next door and the line has 14 people in it. Not an exaggeration. There’s only two people working the cash register so I go up to a woman on the sales floor and ask her to please put my things on hold and that I would return tomorrow for them. She tells me that if I want to put my stuff on hold then I have to get in line and wait until I get to the front and have them hold it for me. Never in my life at multiple Victoria’s Secrets have I ever had to do that.
These employees were less than willing to help and they had the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I guess they’re just hiring anyone these days. They seriously need some training. I’ll be taking my business to another...
Read moreI went in for an exchange at the north park. I purchased three bras from them two weeks prior I had no bras that would fit me. When I walked out of the store I was still shopping so I ran into the bathroom to put one on and wear it. I noticed it didn’t fit but honestly just needed any bra on. I got home and realized I grab 36b instead of c so they two other bras were also the wrong size. I went in with all three including the one I had wore I didn’t know how lenient they might be on their return policy the two other bras were never worn and still had tags on them. I explain to her the situation and had three bras my size ready to exchange. Before I could finish she cuts me off and says all these bras are worn. I tried telling her just the one was and I totally get if they can’t return/do store credit and would have happily bought one of the three bras I had to exchange. She got confrontational when I was trying to explain ma’am why would I wear bras that A don’t fit me and also still have the tags on them. I wasn’t trying to get money or scam just exchange. She refused and was rude the store was busy and it was super embarrassing I am not confrontational at all. I left all my bras there including the ones I brought and the ones I needed bc I have no use for bras that don’t fit me. I went and sat in my car and cried never have I been treated like that in customer service. I have shopped at Victoria secret since I was 12. When I get off work nothing is more fun then getting new Jamie’s from there. Now it doesn’t feel good to be in that store. Read moreThis is one of the BEST Victoria Secret/PINK stores ANYWHERE, certainly the BEST in Dallas, w/ the Mockingbird Station store very good as well. The VS credit card offers the BEST "rewards" of any department store card, and you'd have to be crazy not to take advantage of them. Although not terribly impressed with the lack of consistency in service and lack of product knowledge by sales associates at most VS stores telephone Customer Service for VS is SECOND TO NONE, w/ all other retailers and businesses a far distant second. Unfortunately the VS Chat Customer Service leaves much to be desired. The North Park Mall VS store is arranged well, comfortable and well stocked, although with very long check-out lines Fri thru Sun. During their Semi-Annual Sales however, VS' in-store experience leaves much to be desired, feeling more like shopping at Walmart on Black Friday, and looking like it too! VS loses a great opportunity to be exceptional in-stores during the semi-annual sales, and the adjustment to be exceptional would be easy...get rid of the bins that make you look like a K-mart with bargain bins, maintain usual displays and organization, and adjust prices accordingly. With that said, the VS Semi-Annual Sales are best shopped online or via VS telephone Customer Service. Finally, DONT BE FOOLED, when using the VS Credit Card and taking advantage of its points & perks & REWARDS, the quality, reputation,and elegance of VS purchases are very reasonably priced and a great value!
