I am a NORDSTROM lover. Seriously I try to buy everything I need there. And I typically stop by Bazille often with my husband and always have had the best experience. Well today my sister and I were having a girls date and I mentioned that the chicken tacos here are delicious (which they were). Anyway, we really just wanted to have a quick lunch before picking up our kiddos so we decided to order to go, Sarah took our order and we sat in the corner table towards the back. At this time it was Monday at around 4pm there was 2 other small parties sitting but other than them the restaurant was EMPTY. So once we got our food it came out faster than we thought and to be honest my sister was starving. So we decided we would eat there since we only got something small. (Appetizer and side salad) A very very very sweet and nice guy came by and asked if we needed anything we told him we changed our minds from getting to goto now eating here he said no worries and to let him know if we needed anything. Then 10 minutes later BRENNA OR BRENDA (manager) came to our table VERY oh so very rudely (didn’t even introduce herself) and said “I am going to let you do this today but in the future I am not going to let you eat your to go order here because this is reserved for our guest only” to be honest I was taken back and I honest thought she had mistaken us for someone else. I was very confused so I didn’t say much and she proceeded with “you are not allowed to take up a table because this is only for our guest, but I will let you do it today” I then realized she had not mistaken us and she was talking about our to go order. This was my sisters first time here and I was raving about the chicken tacos but Brenna (manager) made our experience very miserable. Just her whole attitude and tone was very very unpleasant. I really understand if the restaurant was packed but it was practically empty and we aren’t ones to not follow rules or anything but we really just thought it something harmless that wouldn’t be too much of a big deal.
I also truly believe that Sarah started this with letting Brenna know that we infact we’re going to eat here as they were “chatting” before Brenna scolded us. Nonetheless, they both had very horrible...
Read moreWe are here celebrating our anniversary. This was the first stop on our food quest. We’re tourists in Dallas. It took us some time to find the location because the directory doesn’t show us where it’s at. I called the restaurant and they helped guide us. It didn’t take long to get seated with drinks and food. We both ordered the Bazille Burger came with fries and a Kalamata olive aïoli. We also ordered drinks (all pictured). The burger we ordered well done and although cooked all the way through it was beautifully seasoned and incredibly juicy! The dressed the burger with the perfect amount of lettuce, sauce, sautéed onions and more! Our server Oscar was phenomenal and made sure we were taken care of. We saved room for a cookie and HOLY COW Oscar was able to warm the cookie and it was ridiculous!!! I’d gladly buy a dozen of those cookies! Overall the prices match the quality and quantity of the food. I don’t feel like the meal was overpriced. We ordered everything pictured for under $60. (Bread was complimentary) . If you’re in town you should definitely give this...
Read moreWent to Bazille for a light late lunch on Friday, June 21 with my fiancé. We sat in a comfortable booth right by the entrance in the bar area. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and chill. Service was quick and efficient.
We each had chicken tortilla soup and split the flatbread with Spanish chorizo, burrata, tomato, arugula, and pesto. The soup was the soup of the day and it was fairly tasty. There was different vegetables like bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, avocado, and plenty of chicken breast chunks. The soup broth was tomato based, but was more stew-like. Rice was in the soup to add body and it almost reminded me of a Asian rice porridge.
The flatbread was overall great and would have that again in a heartbeat. I mean, come on. Who doesn’t like burrata?!?! It’s so good. Lol The flavors of the burrata, pesto, Spanish chorizo, tomato, and arugula were on point.
Overall, my first experience at Bazille was positive. I would definitely give it a try and delve into...
