I can only edit reviews vs write new ones. Glad to be able to give a positive review today, 2/18/24. Because of today's experience. I have changed the previous 2 stars to 5. Just an aside, It would appear they are getting more Gallons of 1% Milk (hope this continues). So thank you management for that. HOWEVER, I would not be here making any comment had it not been for the following! As noted in the first review at the bottom, the employees I have encountered have been nice. Today I had a particularly great experience with LORI in Fitting Rm. I was looking for a specific type of leggings to use for pajama pants. She knew the stock and was very helpful. She was able to efficiently and quickly show me various options that might work for me. She even thought to show me some possibilities in the men's dept.. In fact. I ended up purchasing a pair from the men's dept.. She not only showed me quite a number of options, she was back to her post in no time flat. To top it all off, she was super nice the whole time. Imo, she should be named employee of the year.
2/14/2024 Review This Walmart improved since I last wrote the review below, a year and a half ago. Coolers fixed or replaced. Now I'm back because the store is constantly out of Gallons of Great Value 1% Milk. I have to make sure I get there early on certain days to be able to find any on the shelf! They tend to be out of the 1/2 gallon size as well. The half gallon size is a little more expensive. I want the Gallon Size available. At least the milk hasn't been spoiling fast anymore which also indicates they pay attention to reviews. Good, I have hope. I got angry today because third week without milk and haven't managed to get there during the limited time frame it is available (early mornings before 10 or thereabouts and only on certain days). Their website said that it was in stock today but that does not mean it will be there for long "today"! GV 2% and Whole milk Gallons are still on the shelves later in the day. So what is the problem! ORDER MORE to meet the demand! This has been a problem since I started shopping at this Dallas Walmart. Don't know where along the supply line problem lies; but, this needs to be fixed! Not ordering more of the 1% is a management problem. MORE 1% PLEASE . I'm tired of dealing with this. I have no doubt others dislike this as well. Maybe they just learn to put up with the inconsiderate inconvenience. I won't buy Umpqua 1% because I don't like the taste of it nor the price tag. I didn't notice any on the shelf today. I didn't search because, as I said, I won't buy it. Please rectify the problem. Thank you.
1 1/2 years ago: NOT Impressed! Very sloppily run. I have shopped repeatedly at this Walmart & the ones in L LaGrande, OR, Lewiston, ID, 3 different ones in Tucson, as well as, occasionally various others in my annual round trips from AZ to & through OR and back. Most of my shopping has been in the Walmart in Oro Valley, AZ. This is the worst Walmart. I shopped at for the following reasons: products are not kept "faced" in most places even on a Thursday at 8 pm when the store was empty I saw no one working the shelves, (maybe Walmart doesn't think it needs enough employees to keep things nice for their customers? or ?). Their website is not kept up to date which becomes misleading & further inconveniences customers. The cooler doors do not seal when closed. I noted a full one inch gap between cooler doors as the doors were askew, gaps in others, and torn off sections of the rubber gaskets in others. For the amount they are burning in electricity on those coolers they could hire at least one more employee. I gave them 2 stars as a nod to those employees that are friendly & helpful despite their work...

We found a little stand with the random movies in it for 3.75 a peice. My sisters friend found four of these movies and at least two of these where 18 plus. The 18 plus movies where the newer "Polgergeist" and the other movie was "Don't Breathe". Once all three of us got to the self checkout and my sister bought me my item. My sisters friend was buying the movies and shampoo and the self checkout machine stopped the checkout and called over the self checkout cashier. She came over and asked for her ID and my sisters friend showed her that we was over 21. Then she asked for my ID when i am underaged and not even involved in the transaction. At this point my sister got involed and stated that she was my guardian for the time being. The cashier asked for a guardian and my sister tired to show her id and show her that she too was over 18. She ignored her and asked me for my ID again and i already stated that i do not have my wallet and i dont even own an ID. She responded with something along the lines of i can't sell this to you because i am a minor. Once again i repeat I WAS NOT INVOLED. We all walked out together and my sisters friend decided that she still wanted the movies so she walked to the customer service. after my sisters friend explained what went down, the customer service gave the movies to her and told her to go checkout and that they can't ring her up there. She went over past the self checkout where the lady that denied the purchase saw this. She followed my sisters friend over to the normal checkout and said very sternly and loud enough for other customers to her that she needed those movies back after she was given them back by the customer service. The lady told her that she will not be able to purchase anything at walmart for the next 24 hours. Overall this controlling cashier made up her own rules that we followed, banned my sisters friend from going there for the next 24 hours, and was overall rude to us for the possiblity that those movies where for me. It also makes me wonder how this lady got a role as a manager if she is so rude and makes up her own rules. Sadly i did not get the name of this cashier but will update this if i ever go back and...
Ā Ā Ā Read more3/26/24 Update: Today when I arrived at Walmart, I grabbed a drink and took it to electronics to buy it. Jennifer was working in electronics tonight and she went to tape my receipt to my drink, despite me asking her not to. She said it was required, and I promptly removed my receipt and put it in my pocket. Jennifer then said "Or you can steal it."
I literally just paid for it and she handed me the receipt. Not wanting to display my receipt isn't stealing. Under Oregon law the only retail establishment where you have to show a receipt is at Costco and that's only because you agree in your membership agreement to show the receipt and authorize them to take your cart, revoke your membership and ban you from the premises if you don't. This is the same Jennifer who called me an idiot because she miscounted my bottle return back in October.
2/2/2024 Update: I arrived at Walmart to make a quick purchase, approximately 10 minutes before the store was scheduled to close (about 10:50 PM). They had already locked the doors.
10/10/2023 Update: Staff has gotten worse. The lady at the customer service desk in a mask who claims to only work at walmart because she retired from the government (her name is Jennifer) actually openly insults customers to their face. I'm glad I'm moving. I look forward to the day that I never have to step foot in this store again.
2020: Although there are a couple friendly staff members, the majority of them are rude. They treat customers like they are either stupid or an obstacle to them doing their jobs instead of the reason they have one in the first place. I live in Dallas, but I avoid this store unless I can't find what I want in Salem or...
