I was just hounded multiple times by a worker ( the same worker) about my face mask being below my nose EVEN though I alerted them I have severe asthma (just got home and literally cannot breathe to the point a treatment is needed), this person singled me out twice even though there were multiple people including employees I passed during my shopping experience he did not approach one time during this duration about the same matter they also did not have their mask covering their nose; When asked to speak to a manager they merely gave me the number to their HR instead and said nothing on the matter no information to myself nor the worker even after I alerted her of my medical issues as well; This is unprofessional and unacceptable, I was made to be centered out of a crowd and made uncomfortable to the point I made my purchases and left and low and behold that maybe 10 minutes of being there in a mask invoked an asthma attack. This matter needs to be addressed more accordingly, people have seriously illnesses that prevent the ease of simply wearing a mask, though the West Salem location is 120% understanding on this matter to where I was THANKED for wearing the mask to begin with and told with a medical issue the mask is unneeded. Read moreThis store is one of the cleanest and more organized goodwills that we visit. The people that work there are friendly and the customer service is excellent! Our only caution is that we’re finding more and more things actually priced HIGHER than retail. SERIOUSLY! So as the saying goes “ buyer beware “. Do your due diligence before you make the purchase.
However, to the stores credit when we spoke with the manager (Jerry ) and brought it to his attention he was quick and courteous to adjust the price accordingly. After that we checked online about a couple more items that we had purchased at the same time ..:..and they TOO were also priced HIGHER than retail. Soooo, we took them back in and spoke to a different manager (Darlene) and she was kind and considerate enough to give us a full refund on the items .

This was the first time in Oregon that I was not served /not allowed to patronize the business after politely saying I have a valid exemption, and having the exemption decree and the note from my doctor at-hand to show in case asked. Despite this, the manager who was working said it’s their policy and did not provide any alternative accommodation. After politely asking for confirmation if their store policy goes against their own state’s emergency declaration, they said I would have to call their HR office when it opens on Monday.
