Pottery Barn — Local services in Danbury

I could not be more disappointed in our experience with Pottery Barn. We ordered two leather recliners before Christmas. When they finally arrived they were clearly two different colors, one being redder and smooth, the other more brown and distressed (what we ordered). We reached out to PB and they said they would replace the chair. Four months later they finally sent the replacement and it was a completely different color than both the current chairs. We refused the delivery and contacted them again. They said they wouldn’t replace the chairs, that this just happens sometimes and it’s out of their hands, we could either keep them or return them. This is unacceptable. As a furniture company they are responsible for sending a pair of chairs from the same dye lot. Having spent over 3k on chairs to have them not match and the company say they’re not responsible is absolutely outrageous. Bruce, Bruce and more Bruce! This manager is an amazing individual who is the epitome of service. Unfortunately these days it is not the norm to receive good service much less extraordinary service but this is what I got yesterday. I came in to return something and to make a very long story short, Bruce made about 20 calls on my behalf and literally did not stop until the job was done. It was not easy and frankly I felt terrible to have him go through so much trouble. He never made me feel like he was being burdened, he never wavered and actually took pride when he accomplished what was not easy to achieve. Pottery Barn Inc. take notice! This guy is a keeper. I purchased a sectional from this store and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The salesperson, Lyhla, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that I found the perfect sofa to fit my needs. Not only did Lyhla have a great eye for design, but her friendly and approachable manner made the entire experience a breeze. The sofa itself is just what I was looking for and has exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and style.
