Mike's Gift Shop — Local services in Daytona Beach Shores

I love this store, but whoever was working this past Thursday night was a TOTAL NIGHTMARE of a woman. Horribly rude to customers, yelled at a kid for bouncing a ball and then was seen shaking her head from side to side and rolling her eyes. It was only 8:40 pm (supposed to be open until 10:00) and when people tried to come in, she rudely yelled “WE’RE CLOSED” and turned them away. Then proceeded to lock the door and made customers wait after checking out to be let out of the building. I’ve never experienced such a rude worker there before. She needs canned!! You could tell she was making the younger female worker...

Dont even want to give one star.. we came in the woman was hateful she was like what do you need, so we just said just looking .. then after getting a few things checking out she was huffing and puffing at us with each thing she scanned then after we paid she just gave us or change and said bye. And didnt scoot the bag closer back to us or anything then immediately went and sat down and got on her phone... very rude if I would have known she was gonna be that rude I would have went somewhere else!!! Definitely...

We bought an umbrella from Mikes-on Thursday it worked for an hour before breaking where the umbrella bends. I rented an umbrella for $40 and paid $40 for this one. Friday we were gone all day when I returned Saturday to switch out the umbrella they refused. Stating many people use and return for no good reason. We were there to exchange and buy more beach toys. Instead I left the faulty umbrella with no refund or exchange and refused to buy anything else. I understand policy this...
