I have been a long time customer at this location. I volunteer for a charity and purchase items from my own pocket. I bought an arch for an event. It was an awful purchase. I set it up and found that the wielding on the arch was week and a piece on top had fallen off and the arch was "bent" it would not rest correctly. Unfortunately I had misplaced the top, but still had the receipt and broken product. I asked the new manager of this location if I could return it without the box lid and she told me no, saying "It has to be sellable". I again explained my issues with the arch to her that I would hope she wouldn't put it back on the shelf for it to be another customer's problem. She said "Well if you had checked to reviews online you'd see this were common problems". I asked if she was saying Hobby Lobby was knowingly selling an inferior product and by this time I was done. She said she would not take the return, effectively losing a longtime loyal customer for a 15$ return. After speaking with managers at other locations I was told she was incorrect and they offered to do the return, but by then I had already gotten rid of it. While I go mostly to other locations now, I've since been in there a few times and they seem to have lost a lot of wonderful staff....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just got back from this location, and this is exactly why I will never return. It's truly an absolute shame. I came in to shop for some Fall/Autumn dinnerware, and immediately I was not greeted by the two associates who stood near the entrance. One was named Misty & the other was a young dark-haired brunette who stood beside her. They continued to gossip about store associates as I grabbed my shopping cart. I respectfully interrupted by asking "Hello, do you happen to have any shopping cart wipes so I may wipe down this cart?" Misty quickly replied " No we don't". And both associates turned towards each other and completely ignored me. Both did not bother to ask if I needed help finding anything. Not one single associate in the store asked if I needed help finding anything. The checkout was just as poor. Not being greeted, or asked if I had found everything I was looking for, I was simply given the total price and " have a good day". That is poor customer service at its finest. I do NOT recommend shopping at this Hobby Lobby location. If I could have given them no stars then I would have. Also, Hobby Lobby should consider replacing those...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve never been to a Hobby Lobby before, much to my chagrin. But then again, Iāve never really started a hobby that required me to go to a craft store. Not the case now, Iāve started water coloring and decided to give them a shot. My sweet next-door neighbor Lynne suggested that we go there today, she went for the amazing array of flowers in order to make some spring wreaths for their home, and I went to check out watercolor supplies. She found everything she needed and then some, and I found a great clay pot for some gardenias Iām thinking of growing, they had a 50% off sale on the spring items and also a 50% off sale on some art supplies. Needless to say we both went nuts! Iām really happy with the items I purchased, a giant watercolor brush with synthetic sable and some other watercolor items. They had a huge selection, I will definitely be back. Also very friendly service...
