Starbucks — Restaurant in Deerfield Beach

Where the coffee comes with an attitude!!! …and pastry grossly handed.

I can’t drink coffee, the only time I stop by a Starbucks (which I find ridiculously expense BTW) is for someone else.

Walked in and wanted some help choosing as not to take so much time. Barista/Cashier, as most at Starbucks, acted as if I knew or should have known the menu options entirely. Last time I walked into Starbucks was 5 years ago. She interrupted 5 of my questions to answer either wrong or inaccurate, but with a sarcastic sense of superiority and plain attitude. The last was before I could finish the sentence asking for a pastry suggestion, she said “all we have is there”…No kidding???Really???? 🙄

Not enough with her own perceived sense of superiority bc she works at a Starbucks “and I am not from there” …,she was handling the cashier and making the coffee, handling the pastries etc without gloves, disgusting. And the excuse for that is the same in many other establishments who follow this poor higiene patter, we don’t...

I just won’t give it a single star because there were definitely many days when I had my order done correctly. Unfortunately there were many other times when my latte was made super hot, when my orders are always for warm instead…Disappointed but I can live with that.

Today I’ve placed an order for a latte and a brownie that took 22 minutes to be ready and that’s because I thought someone had taken my latte by mistake and asked a clerk if the latte was prepared to find out they had not prepared it. The sticker was printed out but not prepared and the order was not prepared in the order it was received - completely ignored.

I have been going to this location for a while now and never felt the need to write a review. However, today’s experience was so different and great I just had to make sure it is recognized. Steven the manager was very attentive and the baristas were all incredibly helpful. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left , I felt very welcomed. Took me back to the when Starbucks was coming up and everyone was nice and happy to help....
