Delray Nails & Spa — Local services in Delray Beach

I went here to get my nails done for the first time, and half way through my nails being wet, they told me their credit card machine was down, which I was fine with but I needed to go get cash. I was then yelled at when I tried to leave to get money at home and the manager tried to pressure me into leaving my phone at the counter, very rudely screaming he wouldn't let me leave. Mind you, I was told DURING getting my nails done, not before they started. I told him I would leave my ID, or something else, but not my phone, as phones are easily stolen or could be damaged, and expensive?!? After he pretty much forced me into leaving my purse there, insisting that he was "sorry" but that that's what needed to be done because people are "untrustworthy".. but claimed he was trustworthy? How was i to know? it was their mistake but I had to pay the inconveniece and when I came back they didn't even give us a percentage off, or a coupon, or anything for the trouble I went through. They also said their machine is down randomly.. very very poor customer service in my opinion I will NOT be going back. In addition, the entire time I was getting my nails done they kept trying to pressure me or sell at me to get other things, like eyebrows etc. even after I kindly said I only needed a manicure. They were rushing and did not to that great a job, and I did not receive friendly service at all. Only go here if you feel like being yelled at and...

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. My nail technician seemed to be the receptionist as well so as she was giving me my pedicure AND MANICURE she answered the phone about 8 times, which I do not mind usually however she wasn't paying attention and dug into the side of my toenail so hard it was bright red and on the verge of bleeding. I had to scream "OW" to get her to stop. The filing and paint job on my toes were awful. The massage portion about about 2 seconds max and THEN the manicure process.... oh this was fun. As she practically picked my color for me she BARELY filed them down and did the WORST paint job ever. Extremely unprofessional and not worth the money. I would much prefer to spend my $40 at Venetian Nails right next door. On top of it all she basically through my purse wide open on the floor making me reach out of the pedicure chair to try and shut it. DO NOT GO HERE!! Palm beach nails is MUCH MUCH BETTER. Actually ANYWHERE in Delray is better then this dump.. And yes, it is a dump as well. Pretty sure the health inspector needs...

I have been going here the past year and they have always been nice and do a pretty fair job for my feet and hands however today, they have unfortunately lost my business for good. I brought a few friends to try them out. My friend and I did not have a great experience. First my friend wanted three coats on her nails to make sure you couldn’t see the nail and they straight up said no and only did two coats as we left the paint started to chip! In regards to me I asked for a pedi and nail polish change. I never have gotten a change and always get the combo and the woman I go to almost every time did not tell me a change is only one dollar cheaper than getting the combo. When I confronted her after saying why didn’t you tell me she just pretty much said too bad. I was very disappointed for the fact I was the one that brought 5 of my friends that day and have been going there so long and that was how I was treated.
