TL;DR: Don't go to this location, go to the one on Sadau Ct. for far better service. It's worth the difference in travel time. Before continuing this review, I will say that I would recommend reading other recent reviews of this Taco Bell location to get an idea of what to expect when you purchase food from this location. This particular location used to be pretty good, and I have a theory as to why it's gone downhill, but I'll save that for last. I purchased a Nachos BellGrande combo at this location, and I noticed the drive-thru attendant was a bit dismissive when I got to the speaker. I know they don't get paid a ton to work there, but they could at least TRY to be somewhat cordial. I pulled up to the window and was handed my food haphazardly by the worker. When I pulled over to check my order, I found my Nachos BellGrande was placed vertically in my small bag, leading to all of the contents shifting into a giant nacho glob in the side of the tray (the picture is provided to give a general idea of what the Nachos BellGrande tray looks like.) Not that any of that really matters since it all gets eaten anyway, but it could have leaked out or made a mess otherwise. Additionally, I've had several instances of this location not being open during posted hours (on Google and Taco Bell's App/Website) dating back to pre-pandemic times. I would show up at 12:30 at night on a weekend for it to be a complete ghost town on more than one occasion. My theory as to why this location has gone downhill is that one time some years ago, I ordered from the drive-thru to find the drive-thru attendant seemingly frustrated. I asked him if everything was okay, and he said that he was "furious, because someone just walked up and urinated on the side of the building." I think when that person completed that misdeed, they placed a curse on this particular location, because it hasn't been the same sense. All that being said, I will not be giving this location another chance, and perhaps all others should steer clear as well based on recent reviews.

I went out after being sick and half my order wasn’t in my bag. I didn’t check as it felt heavy and I wasn’t feeling well. When I called back the man on the phone yelled at me, said I wasn’t speaking loud enough, his phone was cutting out but mine wasn’t and he had an awful attitude. They said to come back later for a refund or to fix my order but I’m sick and that’s the last thing I want to do, especially after being yelled at on the phone. Don’t go here! Awful customer service. I was missing a taco and the dessert-it’s not hard to be kind.

I've been going to this taco bell for over a year now mainly because it's close to Discovery. I'd say 60% of the time something goes wrong. Sometimes they give me the wrong order, or I stand at the counter waiting for 10 minutes before being helped. For my most recent visit I got a quesarito that smelled very off. I asked my boyfriend to smell it and he agreed that it smelled like chemicals. The burrito had it's usual grill marks on it but it also had these black dots too. My boyfriend thinks it might be grill cleaner but who knows honestly.

Used the touch screen inside to order for dine in. Then they took 22 minutes to call me for my order. 4 other customers came and went with their order while we waited. Then when we did get called, we were missing 3 food items, and they didn't make the 5 blue raspberry lemonade freeze drinks. They actually told me they couldn't print a receipt for me so I could know I got all of my order and they could too. This after I asked for it since they missed all this. The manager on duty claimed that "people just use the order kiosk and then come tell us what drinks they got and we give them the cups." Well, I can't make our family their freeze drinks at the soda fountain machine.... Then we tried again yesterday and this time chose driv thru since our dine in experience was pretty weird days before on Friday of last week. So yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) we pull up and there are 3 pieces of paper all over the menu board with a ton of food items that are not available. I don't know if they didn't get their supply truck in or what, but I'd say there was about 9 popular items unavailable. Idk if there is a supply chain shortage throughout or just north Texas or mismanagement at this particular establishment is at fault. But there is a reason they are taking open call walk in applications every day for two hours. And even advertising they are taking interviews for KFC and Long John Silvers at this location as well. Sheesh. I feel bad for the one who show up for work if they are all that short staffed and/or poorly managed. We won't be back and try again for a long time. Just trying to get a bunch of cheap food and fun drinks for the kids before they went back to school. Sticking to Sonic...

This poor review is purely for the service received at the store, not at all quality of food. I volunteered to pick up an online order for my family, and specifically selected to pick up in store, not through the drive through. Upon arriving I checked the online order rack, and did not see my order. I've worked in food service in the past and understand that customers bugging a cashier about an online order where there's a rack for the order to be placed can be annoying. So upon arrival I sat in the lobby for a few minutes, meanwhile watching cars move through the drive through. So at that point my partner stood up at the counter to ask about the status of the order, and continued to stand there for over 5 minutes, honestly it felt like much longer than 5 minutes, but to be fair ill say 5 minutes. 5 minutes and no one even came up to the front counter to see what she was standing there for. As cars continue to pass through the drive through with no issues. Someone in an office with a clear view to the front counter had no interest in assisting her at the counter, nor any of the employees cranking out to go orders. Not even a "just a moment". Nothing, so we went through the drive through where we were handed our cold, long ago prepared online order. No reciept to check the food, and it would have been great to get the order when it was done, but I'm not even sure when it was finished as no one cared to ask what we were standing at the counter for. Just another reminder why I stopped going...
