I was part of a small traffic jam that built on 1st while someone was waiting to turn left on Broadway. And rather than look at my phone, I looked around the block and saw Lucky Noodles. Slightly bustling at the ~7:00 dinner rush, I was pleased to see people smiling, eating, coming, going and I thought, hey what a great date night spot! So I planned a bike date with my girlfriend, I made reservations (although it didn’t seem necessary when we showed up, big parties don’t be unkind it can fill up quick) and we were very kindly greeted by the owner/host/cook/server (I only saw her and one other woman who was cooking) and within a minute sat at a table and looking over the menu. The thing that struck and stuck with me most, while taking our orders she asked (and I regrettably forget her name 😣) is it okay if I make it [Pad See Ew] for you how my grandma made it? First of all, lovely that you would ask as if I hadn’t already released all preference by coming to an establishment designed to serve me vs me serve my idea of what I want, and second, what a beautiful connection to a person, place, generation, culture, and ultimately love that I would otherwise have no medium to be connected to. It’s not just food, it’s saying “this is how I was cared for when I was young, this is what kept me alive” and I think that’s really special. Anyway, thank you Lucky Noodles, may your seats be full of happy and healthy people and your tips large, you deserve it!

We were so excited to discover that Lucky Noodles didn’t close—they just moved to a fantastic new location off Broadway! This place serves the most authentic Thai street food you’ll find in Denver. After chatting with the owner, we learned that this is truly her family’s craft—what they’ve been cooking for generations back in Thailand. And it shows. There are three generations of chefs in the kitchen, and their passion and expertise come through in every bite. The Tom Yum noodle soup is absolutely incredible—rich, complex, and unlike any Tom Yum you’ve had before. It’s served with noodles, and the flavor is so crave-worthy, I find myself thinking about it every week. If you're in the mood for something creamy and comforting, the Khao Soi is a must. It's rich with coconut milk, full of flavor, and just hits the spot. I also tried the honey lemonade recently, and wow—total flavor bomb! Refreshing and perfectly balanced, it’s my new favorite treat. I usually get the Thai iced tea and honestly, it’s better than any Thai iced tea you’ll find at a tea/boba house, so I recommend that as well. If you haven’t been to Lucky Noodles yet, you're seriously missing out. This is hands-down the best Thai food in Denver—do yourself a favor and check it out!

Came here for dinner after being highly recommended by local family members. They made reservations in advance since we had a large party and there's limited indoor seating. Upon arrival, our table was ready as expected. We were greeted like family by one of the owners. She was very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. We started off with a few appetizers and cold teas while getting some recommendations. If you're indecisive, they'll ask you a few questions to give you some recommendations based upon your preferences, even if it's not on the menu. They have their standard menu online, but also have another menu in the restaurant with even more options. We ordered everything from this menu which included curries, rice, and noodle dishes. We had about 10 orders, but everything arrived in about 15 minutes freshly made. Every dish looked and tasted amazing. Very authentic. Great food and service. Will definitely come back when I'm in town.

Short version, best Thai food around and beyond Denver.

Detailed version, Tried Lucky Noodles on a whim while being downtown about two years ago and will seek it out as often as possible now. It's a 40 minute deal for us to come here from Littleton but it's so worth it. I always get the Pad Thai and it's amazing. My wife typically gets pineapple fried rice and loves it. Some of the best Thai food we've ever had. While I've not been to Thailand, I love Thai food and nothing has compared to Lucky Noodles. We recently had some friends in town and they wanted Thai food so naturally Lucky Noodles was the suggestion. We got OG red curry, Tom yum noodle soup, pad Thai and the pineapple fried rice. I ventured outside my normal range of pad thai and pleasantly surprised by the OG red curry. Our friends were blown away. Portion size is plenty for the price. When you ask for it extra hot you get it extra hot. Can't say how often places wuss out on heat.

As for service I'm 99% sure the owner is up front and taking orders etc, but regardless the lady at the front is awesome. We've done call ahead and dine in and never had issues. She's always been great about explaining her recipes, what to get and just being great. When I ask for extra hot she always prefaces with "you won't be mad if I make it too hot?!" Never once has it been too hot.

Consistency is key and I've been here enough to say they are great at...
